Price is 499?

Note in the text on the thread it says 'warranty repaired stock'. There was no direct link but you have the option on the page to select 'buy used stock' and then either 'warranty repaired system' or 'warranty repaired item' (which is cheaper still!)

OK so vote 'cold' but explain why at least!

Not Haswell cold.

I am baffled these are 500 quid new and they've had a warranty system repair so as new and 366 isn't a good price?! This site has some great deals but there are some serious lemmings on here. This was getting heat and then one or two people hit the minus button and a bandwagon rolls out. Pathetic.

didn't see that - perhaps you should have mentioned that

Might as well pay an extra 150 bones and sign Haswell, or wait for them to come down in price.

Better power efficiency.
Increased battery life. Biggest improvement of all time.
Significantly improved gaming/porn experience.

Stick a link on here then for a Haswell one @ 500 quid - I'm not the only one who'd be happy to see it.

Exactly!

they had one of the repaired ones for £302 yesterday which i very nearly bought myself, the specs are wrong though, it is a 630m not a 635m which is why i didnt bother, also didnt bother posting as there were only 2 of them, although saying "for another £150 I could have...." how many £150's before you stop? Not to mention that is an extra 50% on the price!

I'll be swapping the HDD out for a 240 GB SSD and recouping some of the cost by flogging the HDD. Should be a right machine then!

Basically refurbs, which you should have put in the title.

Also, you only get a 90 day warranty.

what about buying the xtra warranty ?
54 quid 2 3 years

£54 for 3 years is good, but it kind of defeats the point of the deal to me though, IMO all refurb electronics should come with 12 months as standard

Its a good price but i would worry about speed. This laptop will probably become uncomfortably slow in two years time and start to get painfully slow. Its always good to think how your processor will peform in the future when software starts to bloat. I remember windows xp running on pentium3 cpus and less than 512mb, that would be unthinkable now with updates to xp and current antivirus software.

I ca't believe a 3rd gen i5 is considered slow... some people...

I can't see the option for "buy used stock". Am I missing something?

I bagged the last one...with a £20 discount code also! Final price £320 i call that bargain o'clock!

90 day warranty. Must be ***** hot deal otherwise
