This appears to be a good deal to me - although il let you techy people decide as iv seen plenty of comments on other deals on here? Can anyone tell me if this will run the likes of Footy Manager easily with good performance?

8GB Ram
1TB Storage
Windows 8.1
Running a QUAD core i7 processor which according to CPUbenchmark, appears to be an impressive processor - 3.4 GHz?
6 cell battery
Display - 1366 x 768 (HD)

Price on the website is £588, however they offer 2.1% cashback on Top cashback making it £575 - not sure if there are any other discount codes out there that work currently to reduce further?

Probably through numerous issues, however there are plenty of idiots on HUKD who do not understand the idea of the expire button
The reasons it's probably had this is as you stated the item is not in stock but available to order. Could also be that as per HUKD rules,

- Price must include delivery
- Price cannot include cashback as it's not guaranteed.
- Must include the cost of the most basic postage

Overall it's a poor deal, the CPU is a good one but the rest of the specs don't seem to add up to the price being asked.

This is the graphics performance of the machine. It should play FM to an acceptable level.

If you are spending this sort of money then you want to get one of these

The graphics should keep you up to date in FM for years to come.

Other reasons to buy would be
Better hard disk
Very good GPU for the price
Full HD screens

The only real downsides to them both is the CPU is not as fast as this one, but the rest of the package is more balanced. To use an analogy, this is like buying a rubbish small car and placing a Ferrari engine in it, it's going to be fast but it will still never be a true Ferrari and never stand out. However you could have spent the same money on a nice sports car and got the looks and power that work well.

Also worth considering is

There's no one best answer to this question, you have said nothing about what you plan to use the machine for other than FM. If you outline your planned usage, what other games you will play, if you do video/photo editing or any other intensive task it's easier to provide an answer. Also things like battery life, build quality are worth noting depending on your requirements.

I tend to use for basic things - FM, dropbox, excel, downloading, syncing phones/ ipads and browsing - wouldn't mind abit of video editing too as its something I went to get into.

Use my laptop most nights for 4-5 hours - also may be starting an online business so wouldn't mind something that can handle web development software
