How are you getting the 99p shipping?
shipping is 3.31 not 0.99
I just bought a mouse mat on prime for a fiver

+vat, more makes total 8.97 for me.
**Edit** sometimes it's only 8.31 total, sometimes 8.97. Weird.
**Edit 2** There seems to be no way to complete checkout at 8.31, it jumps to 8.97 at random various points in the checkout process.

It automatically uses a code to take a fiver off. Then adds delivery, at either 3.31 or 3.98.

Looks like yours has not applied the code. It says on the item page that the code is BURST2020GAMING, try entering manually.

Thanks for the assist mate, what I ended up doing was deleting the basket and started again, it has now added the code. Ended up with £3.28 shipping and tax at £1.49. Paid £8.94 in the end, never experienced such a weird checkout experience.

Agreed, teh checkout process is bizarre, changing the price sometimes, and not clearly showing inc vat prices clearly, etc. Still, even at ~£9 this is a good price.

The Roccat Kanga XXL on Amazon is a bit less (might only be in WH Deals stck now? Not sure!) that one is a *great* mouse mat, but teh sizing of this one from Lenovo better suits my needs, so hoping it's as good!
Cheaper to build one
Good deal for the £8 I'm being shown after delivery fees, but if there's anyone like me that wants a big desk mat like this but without any branding on it, I can recommend this one from Amazon. You're going a little north of a tenner rather than a little south, but for me it was well worth it over other options to not deal with any logos.

Would have jumped on this at £5.99 but not sure at £9. I already have a mouse pad that isn't bad but at only 60 odd cm it doesn't leave all that much space for the mouse after I put the keyboard on it, so a 90cm one like this would be better. Not bothered about the brand or whether it has a picture or not.

Is £9 still good for a long 90cm mat or are better deals likely to come up if I wait (don't mind)?

You should have seen me a decade ago, this is me being restrained on the right hand speaker are my sealed portable pair and my daily listening open-backs. On the left speaker are high end wireless headphones that are used for movie watching for when I'm watching in bed rather than sat at the desk.
£8.94 including shipping for me. Thanks - was going to buy something similar on Amazon for £13.

Build a mousemat? How does someone build a mousemat?

It just requires some elementary loom work. Or you could knock about 10 out in an hour if you've got a spinning jenny. James Hargreaves has some good instructional videos on YouTube

For a branded one £9 is still very good.
