Not too sure how great a deal compare to the other one for £1200. But want to get peoples opinion, I'm a dev and want more memory for all the apps (and chrome tabs) I need. Plus a little gaming on the side.

Very hard to get a laptop with 32GB under 2k. Or is it better to buy the other one and upgrade the memory my self? does that invalidate the warranty?

Or should i wait for the new years sales as i won't be using it much until January ?

Memory in laptops is normally very easy, as long as it's not a cheap low end model it's just open the bottom unclip the memory inside and replace with the newly bought RAM.

Just remember to buy the same style that came with the laptop in the first place IE. DDR 4 or DDR 5 for example and always buy in a pair, not a single stick, so for 32GB you need 2x16GB not 1x32GB.
