Heat added, added specs for you. Great price!!
Good first deal!

Thanks for taking the time to post @Racsoark
Defo looks good for the money, stick a SSD in it and sorted. Was tempted to get for one of the kids but I already got 2 PC's in the house, 3 might be overkill
What is the legal name of the company that supplies this item and where is it based? Thanks.
Great wee deal on this, paying about the same as a console but getting all the goodness of cheap PC games and a 1050ti will play a lot at 1080p medium settings.
Is this graphics card enough for oculus?

It may be OK for some smaller party type games, but I run mine on a 980ti and I wouldn't advise too much lower than that really. A 970 is minimum requirements on most games.

I seriously wouldn't go budget on the machine as your experience will be choppy and if the frame rate is not a consistent 90+ frames per second, you can feel very motion sick.
wow bargain

No
From the specs it includes Microsoft Office:

Preloaded Software
CyberLink PowerDVD
DAI
Lenovo Companion
Lenovo Nerve Center
Lenovo Solution Center
Microsoft Office 2017
Rescue System

It does say that but I would be amazed if it wasn't anything other than the Office 365 trial that gets preloaded on every prebuilt computer, you get 30 days free trial then you pay. If it really does come with a full blown office 2017 then that's really good as I don't think it's been released

Chuck on an SSD and this would be a very decent machine.

Different RRP on both deals. Not sure how HUKD didn't pick up the duplicate URL though. Still a great deal with that 1050ti in it.

Looks great! I’ve not updated my PC knowledge in about a decade so I’ve 2 questions:

1) would I be able to build this for anything like this price?
2) Would this drive a VR rig?

1) Potentially yes but do you really want to for this price? Your getting a decent entry level pc for the price of a console.

2) No not with this spec. As mentioned above you might get away with it if playing party like games that are not as intensive but not for the full VR experience.

If you don't mind me asking - Are you looking for a PC for VR, to get into pc gaming / both or just asking incase in future you want to if you bought this?

A console is £200 with games
Is this good for just a family pc or is it more for gaming?
Stop messing about just buy an Xbox one x
Got a 1070 + i5 4690 for this price, though the SSD is 120GB and HDD is 500GB, it's still a lot better than this.

sure. Let's also play shooter games with a joypad stick with reversed Y axis instead of a mouse, pay subscription money for playing online instead of having just full free internet access and pay £60+ to buy a single game.

£400 for a console? Maybe at release, but not generally.

Thanks for the response JaKay!

I don’t really want to build, no, but I like the idea of having complete control.

Re: VR, I’m just looking for something future proof really. Don’t mind cracking this open (if that’s possible) to add an extra/new gpu at some point in the future. I’m looking for a PC for my son. At the moment all he plays is Fortnite and Rocket league on the PS4, but he’ll want something more intensive in a year or two, and Sony’s nonsense over multi-platform gaming has really annoyed me...
Don't need this but heat added good deal to be honest to get in the game. The VR ready is for the most expensive models though.
This is a good pc! I have it and can run all latest games
Could this play fortnite?

Please give us more info or was a one off from ebay or built up from parts, some of which you already had?

I got an i7 8th gen with 1060 for £250 but I swore secrecy about where it came from

Yeah, it was brand new on eBay. One of those custom built PCs, they sold out very quickly though I was told they would be restocking.

You did well there!
For gaming and streaming purposes, is this a decent unit?

Also, how does it compare to this deal:
hotukdeals.com/dea…497
They seem to have comparable specs.

Cheers!
Similar to the previous questions re: suitability, but keen to know if this one could be easily upgraded (GPU / Processor) in the future - also would throwing in a SSD be recommended? In the market for a work from home computer (2 screens + light gaming) and this seems a good fit with licenses etc. Just weighing up vs self build / any potential prime day offers...
Edited by: "Tjm1987" 15th Jul
It's probably a good deal, but just cross your fingers you get one that works out the box, because they are a god-awful company to deal with afterwards if anything has gone wrong. Mine arrived with what is suspected to be a bad OS installation; not that that is their diagnosis as they still haven't even got to that stage in the proceedings!

As mentioned above, it's been posted once or twice before, and I jumped on the deal after seeing one of those... as, like I said, it's probably a good deal, but having bought the item approximately 5-6 weeks ago, I'm still no nearer actually being able to use it; the customer service from them is downright shockingly bad...
What do you think about this guys?

They were obviously exaggerating. But PC games are cheaper than console games generally.
