Buy any eligible computing item £600 or more from this promotion on 9 months Buy Now Pay Later. All eligible products are contained within the offer page, access via shop now. (Offer not valid if you choose 6 or 12 months Buy Now Pay later).

By entering Q4RLH in the promo code box at checkout your item will be put on 9 months Buy Now Pay Later automatically. We'll then credit £100 back to your account by 8th October 2020 or the despatch date, whichever is later. We'll email you when we have applied the credit to your account.
Order must be placed online. If you return your item, the credit will be reversed. This can't be used in conjunction with other offers (entering any other promo code apart from Q4RLH in checkout will exclude you from this promotion). Offer live 20th - 27th August 2020.

What is Buy Now Pay Later?
Buy Now Pay Later is an interest-bearing option that allows you to delay payments on your purchases for 9 months. The delayed payment period starts from the date of order (including pre-ordered items and those not ready for immediate despatch). Buy Now Pay later is subject to eligibility.

How is interest calculated?
Interest is calculated daily from date of order, compounded every 28 days and added to your account as a lump sum at the end of the delayed payment period. This means you will pay interest on interest. Your interest will be detailed in checkout.

How to avoid paying interest?
You can avoid all of the interest by paying the cash price before the end of the delayed payment period, this can be done in one full payment or multiple partial payments.

Making partial payments without clearing the cash price in full will reduce the lump sum of compound interest charged at the end of the delayed payment period.

Remember if you choose not to pay the cash price before the end of the delayed payment period, any outstanding balance plus a lump sum of compound interest will be charged to your Very account.

How do I make a Buy Now Pay Later payment?
To make a full or partial payment simply log into My Account, choose "Make a payment", select "Pay Buy Now Pay Later" and allocate your payment to the specific Buy Now Pay Later you wish to pay off. Alternatively, you can call us.

What happens after the delayed payment period?
If you have not paid the cash price in full or have only made a partial payment, a lump sum of interest will be charged to your Very account. Any outstanding balance plus the interest will now become payable on your account.

As the outstanding balance, plus the interest now form part of your payable balance they will attract interest at your account rate, meaning you will pay interest on interest. This will be included within your account minimum payment request every 28 days and cannot be repaid using Take 3.

If you have paid the cash price in full before the end of the delayed payment period, you will not pay any interest.

What is excluded from Buy Now Pay Later?
The costs for delivery, installation services and any warranty and insurance products cannot be placed on Buy Now Pay Later. Buy Now Pay Later availability is subject to your credit and account status.

Do I still have to pay my minimum payment?
Yes, allocating payments to Buy Now Pay Later will not cover the minimum payment for your Very account. If you have a non-Buy Now Pay Later balance on your Very account, you will still need to make at least your minimum payment as shown on your statement.

Does anybody know if the i5-10300H will bottleneck the 2060 a lot in this?

Sounds good, do you have any idea when that will be for sale?

end of september or even later

That's a pity!
Shame about the small SSD. Good spec otherwise

Would love your opinion if you dont mind. What's the quality like on this machine? Anything a potential buyer should be aware of?

It runs really well on high settings, fans don't get too loud. I did have to upgrade the ram to 16 gig and get another SSD internally. The i5 seems to run pretty well and handle all tasks so far. There was no webcam from Currys but believe it's on one from directly from Lenovo and maybe overclockers if that helps. The build quality is really good and the keys and keyboard are very good to use. Tactile for sure.

Thanks. Thought I'd need to do those upgrades too if i got one. I'd forego the Curry's eSports version too since it loses a camera (even if it gains a metal lid)
Seems a good price for a rtx2060 but is this laptop on the heavy side? I have a dell g5 which I hate due to the weight (5.9 pounds) so not great for transport (or easy on the lap!). The 5i is apparently 5.4 so a bit lighter but still sounds a bit heavy. Have seen Asus models with similar specs weighing in at 4.8 pounds.

Nothing like my old Dell XPS from years ago lol. That nearly weighed as much as a three wheeler
£50 more than the recent Currys eBay offer on the same machine.

When I look at currys ebay it is 999 with 5% off so Currys ebay is 50 quid more than this. Plus you get 9 months interest free on this deal rather than the 19.9% interest paypal offer on Currys ebay

Regards

Type Lenovo 2060 into HUKD search. Scroll. You will see the deal. It’s been as low as £850 when Currys had £100 off and eBay £50 off. Currently sitting at £950 as Currys have removed their £100 off but it will be back.

Ohhhh WOW now that is a sweet spot well done.

I don’t suppose you or anyone else knows precisely how the £100 credit thing works - do you effectively get £100 off or do you end up with £100 to spend at Very?

You get £100 credited to your account, which reduces the balance of your account by £100. I used this £100 back to buy a dell laptop 3 years ago and it took 3 months for the cashback, but you get 9 months free interest on buy now pay later, so you don't have to pay anything until the Cash back is credited

Ohh ok that’s amazing. I may well finally bite having been waiting / looking for 6 months. Thank you. This is a lot of power for £800.

I do see an Acer with a 1660Ti that will work out to £720 though... aaargh decisions!
I guess it depends on the other specs, if it is same spec just a 2060 v 1660ti I would go for the 1660ti
Cash back and new customer code can’t be combined
Looking at getting something like this for the new flight simulator, seems a good price

Getting hold of any gaming laptop with the 4800 or 4900 is ... difficult atm.
techpowerup.com/gpu…348

remember laptop 2060 is not same as desktop 2060
( hardware unboxed always going on about this!)

2060 desktop = 40% faster according to this

though gpu user benchmark suggests more like 30%
Always with the 8Gb of RAM. I know it's an easy upgrade but the rest of the specs look great
This should work well with VR-

Ports/Slots
USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (always on)
3 x USB-A 3.2** Gen 1
USB-C 3.2 (DisplayPort™)
HDMI 2.0
RJ45 ethernet
Mic / headphone combo
Kensington lock slot

Data port compatible with the adapter

£1k with only 8gb RAM and 256SSD...no thanks
Note this is the 80W version of the RTX 2060 not the newer 90-115W verients that came out this year
