Nice-hot!
Cheaper than the Miix 3 (7 months ago) though with reduced resolution too(mine is 1920x1200).
Its a shame they limit these to a 32GB embedded ssd should be 64GB seen as windows takes up a big chunk of that 32GB

If Amazon are also doing it at this price might also be worth going via flubit. I will check just now and see the level of reduction on offer.

The instant offer of 3% brings it down to £126.99. Will need to see what the best offer is in a couple of hours.

Seems a right bargain.
I've got the Lenovo Miix 10 version 1, great machine, would upgrade to this if I had the cash...
Could you stick Remix OS on these?

Could you stick Remix OS on these?

Should be possible but for a beta OS with limited hardware support I wouldn't expect it will be terribly stable
I wish this was android rather than windows! looks a good deal for the price I have to say

RemixOS might work fine. Emulators work.

I had the same idea. Got the same instant offer of a 3% saving, waited for the private offer and it was only 1%! (£128.07).

Processor, RAM and storage are the same. Single micro USB, micro HDMI and micro SD slot are the same too.

Not sure about build quality compared to the linx though.

Nope.
Can you have programs like torrent on here?
Sorely tempted by this, very good price.
Last year's model had the 1920 x 1200 IPS screen. Lenovo have gone backwards with the Miix, same as Samsung with their tabs since they dropped the tab pro. Don't get me wrong this is a nice little laptop 2 in 1, very well made for the money, least my Miix 3 is but don't expect to much from that quad core processor as it's benchmark is only 906. It's also a 1.33GHz processor and not 1.83 as advertised. 1.83 is the burst speed. The screen is lovely in 1920 x 1200 which is something this 2 in 1 should have but sadly lacks.

Too heavy to be a tablet, too underpowered to be a laptop.

Still nice price.

Yes, just imagine it's a laptop, can install the same things. But tbh you can install torrent software on Android too

My Miix 3 had 26GB remaining after updating to Windows 10 and removing Windows 8.1 restore point.
Nice bit of kit, but the microphone is poor for skype.
what are these new-fangled 'hinges' that it speaks of in such a technical way... did they discover these along with the gravity waves last week? they do whaaaat? in league with the devil, surely?

Linx 1010 is amazing. I guess its just preference. I paired my Linx 1010 with a Microsoft Wedge Keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse. These cut price Windows devices are great

Looking at it, I bet these come from the same factory. May as well be a rebranded Linx. The buttons, ports and keyboard look identical.

Heat either way.

*NB* - Pure speculation on my part!

I have the Linx 1010 and the 2x Fullsize USB on the tablet itself is a godsend. I believe the **** have it too but on the keyboard, so you *must* have the keyboard with you if you need the full USB, whilst the Linx keyboard is just a keyboard only.

Specs are better (and what I really want in a mini laptop) but not sure you'll get a keyboard, build quality could be all over the shop and the support from Gearbest, according to reviews and this site, is patchy at best.

So it's if you want to take the risk!

Just looking at the first one; faster processor (900 vs 1200), more memory and a better screen. I'd say so.

Don't seem to come with a keyboard though - pity, because it makes it so much more versatile.
Absolutely top notch deal - have some heat!

Ha ha, me too. Only I got a whopping 2% offer, so it was £1 more expensive than the instant offer.
