A decent convertible tablet with a Full HD screen and a keyboard included.
You get a 2 year guarantee too, and all the great service you'd expect from JL.

This is at least £40 cheaper than the Full HD model has ever been!

26/6: back in stock! (thanks ZLM)

Yes and 2GB

I would not get much attention to items like that....any new smartphones have Full HD or eve IPS screen....

Full HD, keyboard and 2gb RAM for £150. Not bad at all.

Tempted as my Linx 10 has packed in- but reading mixed reviews on this...

Its not 1080p.
I've got this exact model I use it daily and I've had it for about 3 months and I really like it, The builds great it runs great but the only downside is it's not 1080p.

Some sites report it as 1080p but it's not. heres the official spec Lenovo MIIX 3 10.1" Tablet

Up to HD (1280 x 800) IPS display

What is the resolution? It says 1920x1080 on John Lewis's website.

Edit: 1280x800. Poor from John Lewis.

Up to HD (1280 x 800) IPS display. I've put a link in my original post to the Lenovo site. I had this problem when I bought mine at the time Amazon had it listed at 1080p too as most sites did even Lenovo if I remember right I found out it wasn't by reading the Amazon comments.

Amazon review.

This is very similar to a Microsoft surface. The keyboard dock is heavy and personally it will only be used at home. Screen resolution max is 1280 * 800, even the Lenovo website says this does 1080p. The screen is as sharp as Samsung tab 3 and 4 as we have these also to compare too. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the bloatware. It has taken 35 mins to remove most of the rubbish.
This is a lot better than the linx 10.1 windows tablet I would pay the extra for this one

That looks really good - it is rare to see a Full HD screen at such a reasonable price. And it will get a free upgrade to Windows 10.

yes, the 80hv000suk model looks to be discontinued, if you look at lenovo's site the model tab states 1280 but the feature tab states full hd shop.lenovo.com/gb/…ch/

but lenovo often leave old info or typos on their website... take a look at the tech specs tab, and it only lists the display for the 8" model shop.lenovo.com/gb/…ch/

and here's an example from one czech shop that the full hd models do exist mobilduo.cz/len…ice

Mines a 80HV000FUK lol so there's 3 models out there unless 80HV000SUK is a typo. Like I said earlier I really hope it is 1080p but make sure you check after delivery. When I was buying mine every shop said it was 1080p not sure why but everyone was wrong.

Are you sure? There has been some confusion over the display for this. I just googled the product code 80HV002SUK and all the sites say fullHD, Amazon, Laptopdirect, ebuyer, all say fullHD.

The Lenovo's website seems to be misleading itself, on one page it says 1280x800 and on the tech spec page it was 1024*768 and the data sheet is for the 8" model, and on the feature page, the text below the product photo says 'Brilliant 1920x1200 Display With IPS Technology' So that's three different screen resolutions on three different pages for the same product.

If it was John Lewis alone I'd understand but every single website has this model as a fullHD model. Lenovo have really messed up somewhere here.

Was posted for £200 few months ago, now thats hot.

Is this going to be upgradeable to windows 10?

It clearly says Full HD - several times. If it is not, JL will have to deal with many returns...

From the John Lewis link :-
"This computer will be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 10 when it launches globally on Wednesday 29 July. Click here to discover everything you need to know about Windows 10 (opens in a new tab)."

Many Thanks for posting - ordered.

What do people do for storage with these? 32gb eMMC but half of that is chewed up with Windows. SD cards? Even Class 10 is slow compared to flash and everyone knows Windows is a storage hog.

Whats this like compared to the thinkpad 8.3? I know the screen is bigger and slightly lower resolution.

Can anyone recommend a suitable case for the tablet and dock? (looked on Ebay but most cases seem to be for tablet only). Thanks, Ian.

Seconded Thanks for posting - now ordered

Good deal. Heat.

BTW I'm getting fed up with people editing their comments after posting on this thread.

I am literally hemorrhaging money thanks to hukd

This is a great deal, even if it isn't full HD!
I would have gladly bought one of these instead of any of the linx tablets

155 ppi as part of the specs detailed on JL website is perhaps another clue or mistake about its accuracy of the resolution, but please if you order one, let the site know, as it is a great deal if it is full HD.

I'll buy this if it's full HD but I'll wait for a response from whoever has actually bought it from JL to confirm whether it's HD or not. Can't believe how Lenovo can be so confused about their own products. They make good devices but that's terrible.

Good review here youtube.com/wat…hHE It shows the screen resolution as 1920 x 1200 (@ 45 seconds into video) - assuming that's the same model as the one John Lewis are selling.

ordered! will be going back if not full HD. thanks op.

I've emailed them, if it's not full hd I'll not bother.
