Do not buy this as it has a major flaw.

The same deal appeared just before Christmas and i jumped on it. Only to find out that the ROM is a modified CN ROM. There is no official global ROM.

The main issue with the phone is the wifi, when the signal drops to 2/3 bars of signal there is no data throughput at all. So unless you're in the same room as the wifi access point with a strong signal you will get nothing even though its connected.

Mine is on the way back to China and hopefully get a refund.
Wasn’t lenovo bought out by google? Whats with all these trash phones?
I agree with first comment, I bought it last year and found a few bugs + seems updates are far and few. Wish I'd stuck to Xiaomi niw

I think google bought motorola. Partly for patents. Lenovo is old chinese company that bought ibm pc business. Lenovo then bought motorola I think.... My old Lenovo a10 70f tablet was awesome with dolby speakers. Only had to upgrade it due to IT policy at work reckoning we need android 7.0 for microsoft intune apps even though Microsoft say you don't.... :/

Nah Google acquired Motorola for it's patents and later sold the brand name 'Motorola' to lenovo. They kept the patents to themselves so all lenovo got out of the deal was the name.
Ah i see, thanks for all the answers. Still though i wish Lenovo would put a bit more effort in.

What's wrong with it?

I think the spec for the price is ok.

Not everyone needs a flagship phone and Lenovo handsets like this are actually intended for the Indian\Asian markets where low>mid range handsets sell in the millions
Pretty dam small battery considering the size of the device.

There is no support from Lenovo. You won't get camera upgrade ever for example

Read the first comment, couple of big issues right there
I bought one for the missus for xmas and have no complaints from her. If there was something not working she'd have told me by now! Paid £112 and asked for it to be marked down as lower value on the comments section so I wasn't hit with customs charges. As for the phone itself, seems fine. You can see a few things when you go in the settings, some words with capital letters, some without - but all in English. Camera seems pretty good. Screen is lovely and bright. Feels nice in your hand, coming with a clear rubber case in the box. Went for the orangey coloured one and it looks lovely in the flesh. Added this with the £10 8GB Voxi sim and shes happy enough. Saw the Redmi Note 6 Pro listed on here recently for £99 with 24m UK warranty which may suit some people better... abeit the phone isnt as good.
