It says dual SIM in the description but I wasn't sure as it has 3 RAM rather than 4. Nice bonus if it does.

I signed up to post this, was beaten to it. Heat - I'll sacrifice 1GB of RAM to not have a gold phone Cost was £181 for me with express delivery

Great find OP, I've been holding out for £200ish this phone and will buy this or similar today.

I'm sure this has been asked a gazillion times before but what the score with returns if there's a problem?

Thanks.

Would love to know this also. So tempted. But never have order from another countries Amazon.

I'm getting a final price of £186.66.

Lowest price ever for this phone. Recommended.

Been looking at this phone for quite a while and I have many questions 😁

1) will this work on the O2 network?
2) can this be returned?
3) what is the situation with warranty?

Any help would be super appreciated

You are buying direct from Amazon.

As it's being purchased in the EU and you live in the EU (i.e. the UK) you get the same consumer rights as any other EU citizen.

You also pay no additional import taxes etc as the UK is part of the EU trade zone.

The warranty in the EU for items like this will be 2 years and returns to Amazon are painless.

It's SIM free which means it can work on any network - you choose the SIM to put in the phone i.e. it's not locked to a company at the point of manufacture.

"No prepaid return" wonder how much it would cost to return if something was wrong? :O

europa.eu/you…htm

States here that Under EU law, within the legal guarantee period of two years, defective products must be repaired or replaced without any cost to the consumer. This includes shipping costs. So, in principle, the seller should cover all shipping costs (your sending the faulty camera to the seller; the trader's returning the repaired camera to you).

Previous Amazon import threads have covered this. You have to arrange and pay to send the faulty product back but Amazon then reimburse you.

Bought. Thanks OP!

Decided to go for it. Such a good discount. Thanks op!

cracking deal. even though it's from Italy, it's still Amazon so not worries at all about delivery, returns, etc. only ~£6 more than standard G5S at John Lewis, and I got to learn some Italian as well while ordering! cheeeeeeeeeeeeeers op

Agreed. I used Google Translate A LOT during the buying process but the Translate Page feature in Chrome helped.

Try opening an Amazon UK tab separately and mirror the buying process? Possibly on another device.

My G5S arrived today (I've also ordered the G5S+). From the packing it looks like it came from Amazon UK depot in Scotland and not from abroad! I've not opened as it's for Xmas.

Nice phone this, and the price is very good.

Don't buy it for the camera though, the cam on the non-S G5 Plus is better. This has two inferior sensors to provide bokeh effects, which it doesn't do nearly as well as the competition. Actual photo quality is about the same as the standard G5.

Still waiting on mine (ordered it to come Monday) now saying tomorrow. Was also a pain as you could only deliver to your billing ad

You can track via Amazon Italy by changing settings on your account. Mine is despatched and due 4 December. My phone from Amazon Germany has arrived already.

It's always been in Sheffield. They said they failed a delivery on Saturday and left a card (they didn't) then it's changed to there's been an issue and is expected by the 30th if I don't receive it by then I can deliver it to somewhere more conve

I got mine delivered to work (not my billing address). It arrived on time.
