If this wasn't stuck on Android 6, I'd be all over it. With no Lineage and not much developer support, you may be waiting a very long time before any sort of update.

Unfortunately that is the status quo with all tablets, at least this one isn't stuck on Marshmallow with only 1GB of RAM.

Agreed Hellop4nda.

I paid only £40 for a mint Nexus 7 2013 a few days ago. After rooting, TWRP and Lineage, I'm now running Android 7.1 and 8.1 is on the horizon. If I only had £100 in my pocket, I'd be more tempted to go down this road than the P8. The N7 2013 won't be as fast as the P8 due to its age, but it will be way more secure.
Got this the other day, it turned up quickly and big improvement on my Nexus 7 2013. Yes its stuck on Android 6 but I can cope with that, it doesn't limit anything as yet and my Nexus wasn't being updated. This is standard for most cheap tablets unless your head over to XDA, root and install a custom rom (if available for your device)
Thanks op. Been after one for a while. Patiently waiting...

What shipping should I choose. I'm in no rush. Would like least likely for fees...

Is it priority line?
I went for what it selected for me which was priority EU express 16-27 days £0.

Hope that's the right one.
it is showing 129.44 nw ?

Actually just received mine in between posting the previous comment. I opted for the 5-8 business day option, no recollection of the exact shipping option, but I did not get charged any fees, and it arrived today 21-3 purchased 14-3.
£92 with a no exchange fee credit card. I chose UK priority line as it's free and it should be regular mail, not a courier. Let's see what happens

Thanks OP!

PS: My order included a case and screen protector, but I'm not sure if it's part of the offer or a coupon I applied ages ago (have been monitoring this tablet for a couple of months)

Slow Quad-Core (SD425) Vs Faster Quad-Core (SD625)
2gb ram Vs 3gb
1280x800 screen Vs 1920x1200 screen
No wireless access Vs wireless ac.

So not really in the same class.
Do you think I would be happy with this moving from a Nexus 10. The battery is shot in the Nexus so weighing up if I should replace the battery or buy a new tablet?

Gearbest doesn't have great after sales service but it's still better than Currys PC World.

Probably would be. If you're a tinkerer go for the replacing battery option if not then just throw your cash at this tablet - it runs as fast as most of my devices (and that's a stretch considering I have two flagships as my daily phones) with a decent screen. Other tablets at this price range are equipped with 1280x800 screens/low RAM.
How do I get this price? Cheapest I can see is £116.69 from G-W-4...
Seems to be £133.84 for me, deal dead?
