Be aware that this has Android 6.0 Marshmallow and there aren't any planned upgrades.
I actually bought an s9 plus when it came out a couple of weeks ago and was on the Lenovo site looking at laptops in the sale when I seen this phone.

I don't need it but at the price decided to buy it anyway just to mess about on ..... guess that's £150 off my laptop budget, plus I still have to deal with the other half when she sees it arrive

Don't really like Lenovo products but the specs for the price, probably couldn't beat it!
Very tempted to pick this up for the Mum, got everything she wants, big screen, good camera, decent specs, big battery

Anyone got a bad word against this phone? Cheers for posting OP
Damn cheap, but thats not far off the size of my first tablet!

I'm guessing there won't be much in the way of custom ROMs
Bought anyway
A helluva lot of phone for the money but 10.7mm thick and weighs in at 259g so too chunky for me. Comparison with Redmi Note 4. I think I'll just wait for the Redmi Note 5 which comes out in 5 weeks.
no band 20 in before anyone

Cheap but shame no OS updates
Still heated
same size as of Xiaomi mi max I have handled in the past for months except the weight, still perfect for the price!
Don't forget your quidco or tcb

gsmarena.com/len…php
You would expect the Lenovo website to be correct, but it says different on the gsmarena info, I guess there is probably more than one version, but probably worth checking if you decide to buy it.
Possible 6% Quidco?
Great spec for the price, but would need huge pockets and hands! Can imagine phoning with my Nexus 7 to my ear! still sounds a great deal.

just ordered its a steal for that price cant go wrong
Nice deal thanks
Android 6? pass.
Interesting, but the reviews don't look very good for this phone.... I'll pass.

that's why it turned out to be not a good seller.
Was always gonna get heat, this is a hidden treasure amongst hukd'ers.
Almost every deal I post you have someone saying its not as good as a phab 2 pro.
Voted hot thanks original poster.
Purchased and heat given. Thanks OP

I wonder how this will differ from my Galaxy Note 4 that's also stuck on Android 6
Doesn't look fantastic for using as a main phone but the screen and battery size would be useful to mount in my car for Torque gauges or sat nav. Good deal.

Torque gauges? What car you driving, a mclaren p1?!
Lenovo ok build quality but dire at updating software.. I know you can root etc, however that always feels like a compromise and ok to do if trying to eek out a bit of life from an older phone or tablet, but to me plain ridiculous having to do so on something like this.. 2p worth over with, move on nothing to see here
Now THAT, is one serious Phone?!. :-D

I'd like to think if you had a McLaren P1, the last thing you would want is a champagne gold phablet on or in the dash area with wires hanging out of it and things plugged into the OBD II port! I could be wrong!

Flash gits who buy them I think would love nothing more than an oversized gold bar displayed on their dashboard.
In the future there will be Phab 2 Pro conventions in Las Vegas where owners can meet up and hold their phones above their heads in a glorious salute - the resulting flash of Gold will be reported around the world. At this time all Phab 2 Pros are completely sold out and demand has made secondhand prices sky rocket. ... Pop stars flaunt them in their videos ... and that cool kids Dad has one (and you know your Mum secretly fancies him).… Is it his phone you think? (Probably).

I used to have an expensive car (not a McLaren) but it attracted too much attention (public and police) so I am past that now!

That said I was driving out of my office on a main road and some idiot in an Aston Martin Virage was crawling at 5mph, I found out 500 metres down the road he was looking for a parking space. At least I assume he was as he revved it up and turned off the road into a bay, without indicating no less - this time I actually had the rage to wind my window down and shout 'well you might have an Aston but stop driving like a **** and use your indicators next time'...

I will be on the lookout for gold bars on the dash next time though to see if he is also a secret HUKDer!

How's the camera on this bad boy?
There are some big cons.

No Nougat or Oreo support ever. Stuck on Marshmallow.
No 4G on giff gaff / O2 (as they only use 800hz - band 20 not listed on Lenovo site)

Yet 6.4" QHD screen for £150. I might have a try.
