Yes but its a really good price, i put it on because i think its better than this one hotukdeals.com/ite…ux/

the spec is very much the same, It only has an 8.9’ screen and not the 10.1’ but you’re getting genuine windows XP not linux!

Think the other one is expired because the bank holiday weekend is past. Same deal, though, it seems.

No good for me its screen is tiny at 8.9 inches!!!

Cheers.

Been looking around for a new netbook and this is the standard price most places I have looked!

Its also not listed on the Lenovo site anymore - the new s10 is the base model

How the overall size of the netbook would change to accommodate 10" screen comparing the 8.9"?
And how battery life would get affected by the bigger screen size? After all this is about being portable and not always have a mains socket available for the charger!

Another point to bare in mind is that not always a newer model is a better model!
An example is Dell mini 10 comparing to mini 9. Not only all the size related issues are there, but they have removed the internal mobile broadband modem from their mini 10 which was a very good feature on mini 9!

That's the point of a netbook!

Seems a pretty average deal overall, thanks though!

i checked it today in leytonstone tesco...not that impressive thing... gives a feel of cheap plastic...
i think it has 3 cell battery correct me if i am wrong?

Not an issue for someone like me who would just put on a free copy of XP.

Bought one on the weekend at Tesco ,got home started it up and had a dead pixel on the screen, gutted had to take it back, nice looking machine but I got the 10" one fron ebuyer ,Nice machine although had to get rid of linux
