I'm good too, thanks, nice to see you x
I certainly hope they have sorted out the display issue. I had mine replaced twice due a manufacturing fault where the device turns on but the screen didn't (more precisely, the backlight didn't). I believe there was a connector issue/fault during assembly.
Third time lucky though, and mine has now been going strong these past few months.
Nice bit of kit, however I wouldn't recommend the portrait position ( might have been updated since but back then, portrait mode only worked for the video calling).
Why does the 10 inch never get discounted here? In the USA it does
Thinking of getting one to replace the Google Home but don't think the speaker will be as good. Anyone able to advise?
What are people's thoughts on the quality of the speaker compared to the Google Home Hub? I had a Hub when they were first released but was rather disappointed. Whilst the consensus seems to be that the Hub sits somewhere in between the Mini and the proper Home, I felt that it was pretty much on par with the Mini (in fact, I found the Mini to have better bass and quality at louder volumes).

Really interested in one with a screen, particularly for the kitchen, but just don't want to be disappointed with it!

Can you not buy it from there? Serious question?
i have one of these, they are a nice addition to my wireless setup. my only issue with it is you can't pair any bluetooth headphones with it, seems a strange thing to omit in this day and age. no headphone jack either. so basically you can't listen to anything in private.hope this helps anyone who is thinking of getting one. heat added op

I assume I've end up paying VAT on import and bigger delivery charges. Plus the plug will be different. its not worth the hassle
Are these the same software/functionality as Google home hub but better hardware?

You can for £200
The 10inch version was or has been on sale in Costco if you have membership. I bought mine for £157. It’s really good for checking the Nest Doorbell and the sound quality isn’t too bad for music.
I bought one for my son before Christmas, he has it on his bedside table, never sleeps in for his work and wouldn't want to part with it, better than the home hub we have.
Didnt lenovo make a smaller one with a usb socket in it? Its not the official google home hub but small and looks similar to it, anyone else know which one im after?

I don't know about the screen version but I have the Sony version, the sound quality is 360 degrees, high quality stereo, has gesture controls to and is splash proof, have connected to control my sony tvs, LIFX lights and soundbars. The microphone is very sensitive can evan pick up voice in loud room, also has nice clock display with a manual mic of button. Here's a link

Really appreciate that, but more interested in this particular one as I have a number of Google Homes (from Mini to Max!) across the house. Looking for one with a screen ideally.

Thanks though!

This isn't correct. I've connected my bose bluetooth headphones to this. You have to create a connection via the home app. 37477777-Hk2tm.jpg
