Spotted several of these on a "reduced to clear" table at the top of the escalator at Tesco Extra in Danestone, Aberdeen. Don't know if national. In blue only.

Seems like a decent price for a full HD (1920x1200), quad core 1.7GHz, 10 inch Android tablet with 2GB of RAM. Cheapest for this same model is £129.95 on Amazon and JL websites. £169.98 at Argos!

Yes it only has Android 5.0.1 (not sure if this can be upgraded), but has 16GB of onboard storage, expandable to 64GB. Wi-Fi only (not 3G/4G) I believe.

Not exactly the latest technology, but more than good enough for watching media from various sources, web browsing or for kids games.

I have read various different specs on retailer websites for this model, but all of the above is as listed on the rear of the packaging itself, seen by my own eyes.

Review here:

P.S. If someone is able to confirm how I can upload a 2nd pic using the mobile website, I will happily include one of the rear of the box detailing the specs.

I have one of these and love it. Got it for £129 which was a bargain at the time.
Got one. Is good. Paid about £100 from M&S...usually come up on offer for £150 so this is a good deal. Doesn't game well...apparently...I don't. Does everything else great. Good resolution (1920x1200) so is great to RDP to your PC if you've got a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The android upgrade causes some sound issues...my dolby app doesn't work anymore...but it's fairly pointless with speakers this size IMHO...use earbuds. I have to reboot to go between speakers and earbuds. Wasn't a problem before the upgrade. So for me this is a bargain even with the little quirks it has. Did I say great screen? The Tab 3 10" has dropped the great resolution so don't be fooled into thinking that would be a step up for little more money. Check the specs. Reply to my comment if you have any queries and I'll try to answer.

Hi. You mentioned an Android upgrade above. Which version is it running now?

Mine is on 5.0.1 as well and when I check it says it is up to date, mind you if the Dolby app doesn't work on Marshmallow I don't think I want to upgrade to it anyway....

I understand that i could put mine back to get the dolby working again...but then you lose the security patches that come with l android 5...I don't know how risky that is...presumably 5 doesn't have the security patches of subsequent versions of Android...so how risky is that? Who knows?

Had mine for over a year now, it came brand new with android 5 (lollipop) installed. Dolby app has always been temperamental and tablet has to be restarted at least once a week to keep it working. Apart from that it's a great tablet, the full HD screen is excellent for displaying musical scores and works well with the PhonicScore app.
Agree...it's a lot of tablet for this kind of money...well worth its idiosyncrasies

I got a tempered glass screen protector for mine but it seriously hampered the touch screen sensitivity and I couldn't find any settings to adjust it...ended up taking it off. Probably a film one would be better for this tablet

Got 1 of these in Tesco Extra Rutherglen yesterday. Fantastic tablet for £99. Bought one 18 months ago for £149 and it's still going strong. Great piece of kit for the money and now my son has one after his current device died. Great for movies/games/surfing tinternet. Still as zippy as the day I bought it. Lots of similar looking versions of this tablet but if you see this version in Tesco, grab it! Heat added.
