So_wrong

£119.99 in Argos plus … £119.99 in Argos plus cashback.http://www.argos.co.uk/v1/static/Product/partNumber/4648774.htm

Do you think it's worth it at £149.95?

£99.99, no more.

This was cheaper before because everyone mistakenly price matched the new version against the old low res 1Gb version at Argos so unfair to criticise this price.

Yes its worth it even at £149, its fast and has a beautiful screen, you wont find another device with that resolution at this price unless its a chinese brand.

Ignore anything about problems with lollipop as well, wifi, dolby atmos etc, clearing cache or doing a reset solves them with the latest firmware.

I would also recommend doing the below, then everything runs silky smooth.

If you want this sort of size your choice is very limited indeed. The Samsung Tab A 9.7" has a really crappy low resolution screen, slow CPU and only 1.5GB ram. Galaxy Tab E 9" is similar to Tab A. The Nexus 9 is much more high end but its 64-bit OS is huge and it constantly runs out of ram unless you root and put something like CM13 on. LG V700 is low end like the Tab A.

Due to the above, I picked up a LG v500 8.3", rooted and running CM13. Performance is really good, 2GB ram, good CPU, 1080p screen and all for £70. oO

Ever since the old Nexus 10, there really isn't a good Android large tablet.

So the first company to reduce this to £119.99 was actually price matching themselves. I bought one from tesco who were the first to market at £119.99 closely followed by JL, Amazon and as usual Argos last. Curry's PC world may have been in there somewhere and for those of you who didn't buy you missed a bargain at much less price than the nearest Samsung with much better screen resolution and no bloatware.

Lenovo is a Chinese brand.

I new someone would say that, its a Chinese company, their brand is sold worldwide, I'm talking about China's own brands specifically manufactured for the Chinese market.

You mean the clones and the clones of clones that still end up being exported here haha. Evidently in some countries it is classed as a great honour to your product for someone else to copy it. Years ago the Japanese took our products and made them better, now the chinese take anyone's products and make them cheaper.

Just noticed that the 3 Years Added Care is free on this, which includes accidental damage.

3 year added care is £75 separately

I went and bought this, have to say I'm really disappointed with the screen, everything is so fuzzy. On streams, Netflix, Sky Go and even a film I downloaded from the Play Store. It's terrible compared to my 2013 Nexus 7.
