Good offer. Use code TDX-PLNX at checkout

The Tab 4 8 is the first tablet to hide many tablets in one. It delivers a great
multimedia experience in an amazing design hiding high-end specifications.
It has you covered beyond what other slate tablets offer by helping you
secure your data with multi-user and multi-space functionality. The Tab 4 8
reinvents the slate tablet, by becoming better with a choice of packs.

Super hot!
If only it was Full HD (is 1280x800).

Unfortunately tablet specs at this price appear to have stagnated. Such a shame Tesco stopped the Hudl range.
The plus version for £209 at Tesco has a 1920 X 1200 screen as well as 3gb ram and an octa core processor. Shame it still only has 16gb but you can at least supplement with micro sd

Totally agree. Screen tech for budget tablets has gone backwards.
Bought thanks...
Still considering it. If the plus had 32 GB I'd buy. I'm just thinking I maybe able to live with 2GB ram and Snapdragon 425 vs 3GB and Snapdragon 625 for £100+ saving.
Been keeping my eye on their release for a while. Decent price for a new product. Price is 130 quid in argos
I wouldn't mind 2gb or the 425

I wouldn't mind the 2gb or the sd425 - but since you'll be looking at the screen for 99% of the time, it's the low resolution that breaks the deal for me, sadly

Agreed. My folks have a 1200x800 7" tab, and that's bad enough for me. I'm so used to using high res, that this feels odd using.

At this price I wouldn't be expecting a better resolution

If only you could buy a new Nexus 7 2013........

The Hudl2 is an 8" tablet that launched nearly three years ago, with 2GB of RAM and a 1920x1200 resolution. In 2015 it was available new for £99 from Tesco - same price as this tablet without the code.

We shouldn't be accepting technology as going backwards.

I understand what you mean. Tesco Hudl wouldn't have been for the wider population as compared to this one. May be that's y ??

LOL my lenovo tab 2 cost the same 2 years ago, I'm using it now and it has the higher resolution and 32gb. How this deal can be hot I really don't know
DO NOT BUY !!! . This is an awful deal, the tablet has a terrible screen resolution (to the point where things will actually appear blurry if you're used to using a retina display) and also it's much slower than the majority of Android tablets. Not worth the money whatsoever. The price isn't even anything special, 'budget' tablets with the same or better specs than the Lenovo Tab 4 have been widely available for several years.

What a load of guff. This tells me nothing of substance about the tablet.

Anyway, anything with less than 32GB internal storage is a bad purchase in my opinion! Trust me, you will regret it at some point down the line... I speak from experience.

Absolute nonsense. I'm holding one right now. I have previously owned a Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. This does not feel significantly slower, or look any more "blurry" than either of those two (even though their specs are superior on paper). This tablet looks great and performs well. I've been shopping for a 7 inch tablet with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage for several months and there is NOTHING out there to match this at a price of less than £90 (at least not from a known brand). I never understood why people slag things off that they haven't been anywhere near...
