1GB of memory? This will be very slow won't it?
Voted hot, this is not great but an OK price for a tablet for kids. Yes, there are some other options available including the cheap Amazon tablet, however that has Amazon bloatware, needs Google Play store installing, blocking access to your amazon account if kids using it and so on. This is a cheap alternative if you have small kids, if they drop it, not a big deal. Saying this, I posted an almost similar deal long time ago, for only £24, also a deal for Ipad for £32, obviously cheaper and perfect for the same purpose.

why do people always say that it's junk but ok for kids?
can anyone recommend cheap but decent tablet for kids, needs 2gb ram?

Ok for small kids. Teenagers/adults will want to play proper games. Preschool ones will play basic games about phonics, maths, easy games. A poor specs tablet will cope with this kind of games. You also do not want to give a £300 tablet to a 3-4 year old one, you get a cheap one, as there is a big chance that tablet will be smashed soon.

Depends how old your kid is. My 7 year old played with a tablet 1gb ram until last month when I've got him a 2gb ram one. He did not really need it, the games he played are basic and 1gb ram was enough.
I posted some deals from Argos, refurbished Acer Iconia One, 2 gb ram, price range £47 to £80. Now OOS but if you keep an eye, will come back.
Otherwise the cheap Amazon ones are fine, however I think Android ones are easier for kids. Also, lots of used basic tablets on eBay for £20-40.

Thanks, I just think 2gb is more needed for games nowadays and I guess better processors helps too.

Kids will only use it for simple games and watching videos where as other people may use tablets for work ext.
I got one of these. It's terrible, really slow and the touch screen feels weirdly unresponsive at times.

I don't think you understand what either "man up" or "being so sour" mean...

I actually read both responses, and still posted. Sounds like you didn't understand why low-specced tablets are aimed at kids either...

You have a serious attitude problem, or just lack maturity and / or social skills which puts people off the site. Disgraceful.

You’re quite welcome. Please try to draw people to the site instead of repelling them with a bad attitude.
