That 1Gb (not mentioned) is a killer (and not in a good way)!
Hi
has anyone got this tablet?
is it any good?
battery life specs,
mainly need for YouTube and browsing?
thanks
I'd buy a Fire HD 8 on prime day instead. Or buy a like new one for similar money. Might not be pretty, but at least it will get security updates.

I can't speak for this model but I've had a Lenovo Tab3 8 inch for about just short of 2 yrs and had no bother with it at all, use it every day without fail. The battery is good and I have watched a couple of films on flights abroad but if I am using it a lot at home I do connect it to a 2 mtr cable. I would definitely get another Lenovo if anything should happen to this one.

Had this decision a while ago and went with the fire 8 and it’s a great little tablet. Takes 5 minutes to load play store

Does lenova tabs not do security updates?

I’ve only used apple tabs,
dont know about lenova

jist need for YouTube Netflix and browsing
I bought this and it has got security patches, the last was in April. It runs Android 7.

To be honest, my daughter uses it for YouTube, iPlayer, audio books and a load of games, and we've not had any issues with it.

It won't play Wizards Unite (new Harry Potter game) but neither will the Amazon Fire because the game requires 2GB RAM. But she's been able to play every other game on it that she's wanted.

Also, the Lenovo has better front and selfie cameras and my daughter uses both cameras a lot.

I wasn't sure whether to get this or the Fire, but can't complain so far.

Indeed, but not great to give as a present: grade B from CEX is not 'like new'!

Apologies, I wasn't clear. My experience is that you will get some security updates, but not for long. Despite being a bit weird, the Amazon tablets seem to get updates for a good few years.

I gave mine as a gift and they only knew it was second hand when I told them. It was immaculate.

You can inspect before purchasing amyway. Give me £5,far better specs, proper android and security updates and a 2 year warranty over this lenovo which with only 1GB of memory is going to be awful

This tablet has lower specs than my 2013 nexus 7!

The Nexus 7 had 2GB RAM, better than this Lenovo or the latest Amazon Fire, though not all Nexus specs were better (e.g. weaker camera and no SD card slot). The Nexus 7 also launched at £199. You have to ask what you want the tablet for. For £60, the Lenovo does everything I need it to for my daughter.
I only need for youtube netflix
everyday browsing and banking
