I got this for £55 from Argos eBay. It's ok, I little sluggish at times but useable. The speakers are what clinched it for me. They're brilliant and perfect for having the tablet mounted on a wall.

This or the bush 10"? Decisions decisions
The speakers are nice and I got poweramp with effects and the atmos working together.
Anyone know how to get Google Assistant to work reliably on these?

Pretty good tablet
Would this perform better than an Amazon fire HD 8?
I returned two of these a few weeks ago, i've always used Samsung but it was the price that attracted me, however these are very slow i thought and got very warm even just playing video, each of them also had issues with the batteries, would be on 30% then before you knew it just change to 5% then turned off.

Price is good for such a tablet but personally i would avoid.

The guy actually said at Argos they'd had loads of them back due to several issues.

Yes, a Kindle Fire is not a proper Android tablet but an Amazon mutated thing. I was bought one as a present - in the end I gave it to a friend. I've got proper Android phones and tablets and there are a lot of differences.
Thanks op, has anyone used the tablet as a satnav? I'm wondering how accurate the gps is on this one? Thanks.
Satnav is really good on this
I bought one of these refurb. Not the quickest tablet in the world, but perfectly fine for this price. Worth noting, though, this doesn't do HD video for Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, you'll be on SD. Other than that, the screen is very nice and I don't notice the sub-retina display at all, the tablet feels sturdy and well made and holds a decent charge. If anyone has any questions, happy to see if I can answer them.
Do not buy! I bought one of these and after a slight bump the whole screen shattered. Worse is Lenovo want to charge me £200 for a replacement screen and nobody else will touch them! Stick with apple or samsung, they're the only ones people can fix!
I have one and it's an excellent tablet for the price.
Was contemplating using it as a controller for smart home kit, for example Hue lights and sensors etc. Would look cool mounted to the wall.

I've had one for about a year and find it a very good tablet but the satnav does struggle compared to my phone, I believe mediateks processors are the problem my phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon and the satnav is far more superior when using navigation.

Beside size are there any differences between the 8 inch and 7 inch Tab3s?
Don't pre Nougat Lenovo devices suffer from the audio synch problem?
I bought one of these as an upgrade for my Lenovo A3500F, it turned out to be worse and I returned it...

Yes, the 7inch version has half the memory, 1GB RAM so its a lot slower.
Brilliant tablet, had mine since Christmas.
Much faster than the very similar looking 1GB of RAM version.
Does offline Netflix viewing work on this / are you able to download shows to tablet?
I have the A2 10" and other than the headphone socket being temperamental (First one was exchanged as earphones didn't work in it) I have had no issues and battery life is quite good. My daughter wants an 8" and I can't decide between this or the tab 4 8" for £30 more but there isn't a major difference with the specs. Does anyone have either of them to see if it's worth the money? x

Don't know if it's much help but I can on my Lenovo A2 tablet and my Lenovo laptop
I love it when people say 'buy Samsung' cos I dropped my tablet etc
It's like an offer for a Dacia and people saying buy a BMW, it's better.

Bought it for my mother to use on flights for e-magazines/box-sets and does the the job on the tin.
No, it's not as good as a Samsung but is also substantially cheaper.
Been using one of these for the last few months to watch movies on the commute. Screen quality is perfectly adequate and Bluetooth headphones work great with it.

lol can't beat a 10" bush!
I got one to replace my nexus 7 from 2013 and it's been spot on.

Yes you can, also if you add a large capacity sd card you can merge it into the existing storage so you get a massive amount of storage for downloaded Netflix & Amazon prime movies.

Not sure where you've heard/read that. All I can think of is the P2 phone which suffers from that. Completely fixed with Nougat. I've had several Lenovo devices on Lollipop and they play video perfectly fine.

What made you do that? This must have been disappointing. Was for me as I did the same!

How does one go about this? Also, what would happen if the tablet got really hot due to to it being plugged into the mains 24/7?

Good to know, thanks. In which case this is a good deal.

I too wanted to know about this or the Bush.

Not fussed about size. But 32GB on the bush seems better.

I think Google assistant has bugs still, not the tablets fault.
Link shows 1GB RAM. Confused

Good question. I've been trying to look for a good mounting solution for android tablets. But seems as though no one makes it. I've seen a few solutions for iPads, there's a really good one which has a wireless charging mount too which comes with a case, but at nearly £279 it's extortionate!!!
