Same price at Ebuyer with the advantage of free next day delivery... The thing I'm trying to fathom is whether the processor and spec is worth £45 more than this one?

ebuyer.com/701…kuk

I'd go for the ThinkPad over the B50 for better quality build.

Don't know what the AMD CPU product names mean anymore. Reason is I don't care. Reason for that is my experience of AMD laptop CPUs is they're... ... they're... idk how to say it... less good than Intel?

Ordered one. Thanks OP.

The cashback is still on offer, and still around the same price at ebuyer, dabs, saveonlaptops

Did anyone buy one? Not many reviews out there.

A lot of the reviews on the B50 talk about it being slow, so I'm thinking I'll go with the E555 and add on another 4gb of ram for £25.

Not many reviews for the E555, but from what I've read the main complaint was that the harddrive is noisy.

I bought one from ebuyer for my folks. Came with Win7 installed and discs to downgrade to win8.1. There's a fair bit of pre installed Lenovo and anti virus stuff. Left it installed and still ran fine, but will clean it when I get chance. Will only be used for browsing and Iplayer. The only thing I disliked was the layout of the mousepad, but decent keyboard, webcam and inputs.

Didn't notice any significant noise from the hd.

Great, thanks, should be buying mine tomorrow.

Didn't buy one, instead bought one a Medion that is on sale:
