Agree that the glossy screen may not be to everyone's taste, but it seems to be the standard these days. Worth noting however that the casing is matte which means less fingerprints and scratches.

looks good

Does anyone have an opinion as to whether this unit would benefit from an additional 2GB RAM? I have ordered it as is, but, with RAM quite cheap these days, i'm wondering whether i should upgrade.

"3G upgradeable" .. is it as easy as opening up and putting a small 3g card found from a reputable net site ? Or does it mean a bigger cost

I was looking at the Acer 8371 but that is much heavier and bigger compared to this (and my current UL30 which I don't like).

Anyone order these and is the 100 guaranteed ? Also what do they think of it ?

Does it have HDMI ?

It does have HDMI

Good review here :-)

Has anyone used it and can confirm how long the battery lasts under normal use ?

Can you use the 10% code to get an extra off as well as the Lenovo £100 refund ? Nope but the 2.5% code should work ..

You can always sell the USB drive for £30 too !

Updating the PC looks easy too with the whole underneath visible once the bottom cover is removed.
