Stick a 1050ti in one of these and you've got a little beast of a machine for under £400.
Hmm tempted.
literally spent the last 30 minutes looking for a Dell t20 or lenovo ts 140 or a cheap xeon cpu for my gen 8 microserver and this pops up hmm going to need to look into this now nice one
Can someone explain the cashback please do you claim when you get it or a month after like the Dell t20?
Missprice? The 8gb/1TB version selling for £558?
This one has 250W PSU but on Lenovo website I found version with 400W as well. I believe that upgrade should be possible if needed.
Well I ordered for next day £265 hope it's comes but bet it will get cancelled
Price looks right (and good!), slightly less on servers+ but no mention of cashback there. Same difference to the 1TB

It's a genuine price and not a mistake. They often bring out a "top seller" model at a crazy price and this is a cracking deal.
Got an email order processed and money taken.
ecc ram?
Wonder how noisy/quiet it is?
Obviously the CPU would be better but in terms of feature-set which would be better? HP Microserver Gen 8 with an i3/Xenon upgrade or this?

I have a gen 8 it ended up in the loft too unpredictable with noise depending what you put in it. hopefully this will bring it back down again because I don't know how hot it will get in the loft in the summer. if this is legit then gen 8 up for sale

DDR4 ECC single stick.

I have gone for it as well, paid the next day charge as it works out under £215 after cashback.

I was sat looking at upgrades for my e3-1220v2 sat in a rack server as it is struggling to decode my 4k ip cameras as it doesn't support quick sync.

uk.insight.com has dropped the price as well so for once I may actually get a bargain!

If my rack server sells for £100 I will be happy

The CPU itself is about £200 at retail, so this is just... ridiculous, if it comes through. I've ordered one for next day delivery as well.

Finally something to replace the old N54!
Can't even find it on YouTube. same plan for me gen 8 sold and another computer in the front room to pay for this. hopefully I can get esxi 6.5 to pass through graphics card for tv
Blimey that makes a very good home ESX lab. Especially if it really has 1 x 16GB DIMM. It could use more cores but then it is very cheap.
Video review here of the previous model - looks the same, newer one has slightly better spec.

thanks, been on the look out for a replacement for my under-powered N54L
It is likely a price mistake, Bought it as well. Did a small price up on PCPartPicker and it came up at around £600, so expecting a cancelled email later.

How many 3.5" drive will this take? I have a 54L that needs replacing too.
ordered also to replace an old Xeon X5460
Doubt it's a mis-price, same price elsewhere

never heard of EEC RAM? Better error recovery than ECC?
A bit more expensive on ebay but still in similar price range.
Seems a good deal decent passmark on cpu.

Up to 4 fixed 3.5-inch or 5 fixed 2.5-inch

I plan to shoehorn 8 in eventually as I have a raid card in my existing server.

Be warned power supply is listed as 250W
Will very likely need upping a bit to support a decent graphics card
Does it have a dual nic in a pci express slot also I keep seeing it in pics
How will this run as a home pc? does it need a graphics card?

A typo as I was rather excited at the time
Also, how do you get the cash back? is it automatic or do I need to apply for cash back?
