Why 16:10?
Nice!

Why 16:10?

Personal preference. 16:9 cheaper and perhaps better suited to watching content. In my view, 16:10 better for pretty much everything else - anything where vertical space is nice, like reading/writing or editing stuff
True, 16:10 has noticeable more vertical space, using currently old 24” 1920x1200 there is no way going back to 16:9, unless it’s at least 27” 4k.
Looks amazing, but 30W typical power usage is double that of the much cheaper 27" hotukdeals.com/dea…228 which surely makes it the better buy.

Is that 30W typical based on the PD though?
Can you daisychain two of these together to have one cable from a Macbook Pro into one monitor and then a cable between the two monitors?
Its very good I managed to get one for 100 quid just when I started working from home. Only issue is some websites are not designed for the aspect ratio and the text is very hard to read. Other than that it is plenty bright, good contrast and colors. Compared to my old HP ZR22W it is nighht and day.
good spot
Bought one in April and had kind of high frequency electric noise from the back panel. Exchanged a new one but had the same problem. Returned and got a refund. If you can stand the noise, it is a good monitor.

Why 16:10?

mac book screens are 16:10 so this will provide a very nice mirror option without having black borders

I don't have the noise. It seems you are getting intereference with something else.
It's come back again! please revive this topic. I bought it last week and I'm using the monitor with my GPD Win Max in one single cable for my home office, it is a really nice deal!
