Definitely one of my favourites. Ram is 8GB soldered but can take another 8 to make it to 16
TN screen could be a dealbreaker for some but this laptop for the money in this compact size is really a great one for the next few years. End of Support: 2027-09-05

Ryzen processors are very competetive with Intel on laptops whilst typically drawing less power and therefore having a decent battery life. Their current IGPUs are "ok" they're not Nvidia dGPU beating by any stretch of the imagination but sufficiant for light 1080p gaming. Of course it's not just the CPU it's the system it's integrated into thanks to their former cheap and cheerful reputation many AMD processors are paired with single channel memory (see the above system) or poor displays/keyboards or small weak batteries to cut corners.

So the TLDR, AMD processors are good but look carefully at teh details of whatever it is you buy!
Missed your reply here as you'd posted as a new comment but thanks for the heads up. I mean, I hope it's the case I'd get decent pairings considering I'd be happy to splash £1k+

Some of the pictures show a full sized keyboard but that's actually the 15" model I believe. The 14" one is a smaller keyboard and doesn't have the numberpad incase that's important to anyone who's interested.
wouldn't be surprised. LO listing is a bit chaotic sometimes. Checking that now... Cheers. Updated now. (edited)

How do mobile Ryzen chips stack up these days against Intel's offerings and compared to their desktop counterparts? I know AMD hasn't always had the best rep for mobile chips.

Has their mobile GPUs also improved compared to the likes of the mobile RTX3050ti/3060 (not desktop)?

In the market for a new laptop.
This Ryzen is better than the Intel equivalanet.
