I don't see why not
Bargain.

Bargain.

I thought the exact same!

Its basically the £200 laptop deal that went mega hot but with windows 10 and a much better CPU for just £70ish more.
Yep looks good, decent SSD size and memory, Full HD non reflective screen, cheap and very cheerful.

Not as good , in my opinion.

Rather pay £75 more and get a much better CPU and Windows included (saves a bit of mucking about!).

A6 9225 is absolutely terrible.
Orderd afer just receiving a refund from Ebuyer after sending back the HP 250 which was a deal recently. Browser kept closing, even after all updates.

Not bad I paid £239 for HP with 4gb ram the ryzen 3 and full hd but 14” screen this is definitely worth the extra

No, not on a TN screen.
For proper photo editing, you will need one with an IPS display with decent Adobe colour coverage. Unless you're planning to use an external monitor.

Even then the performance would be meager unless you are editing for fun

I have an external monitor actually....i only use Chromebooks so i need something to run lightroom. Im just baffled by windows, i only know Google ecosystems!

Just want someone to tell me what to buy
I dithered and this went out of stock as I was going through the checkout, so I've been watching it like a hawk - it's just come back into stock! (Reported unexpired)
I'm guessing an extra £84 for the same laptop with Ryzen 5 and Vega 8 graphics is worth paying?

If you plan to do any real gaming on it, yes

If general use, email, browsing etc then no as you won't notice the speed difference.

Thanks. I've had a chat with my son and he realises it's not going to be able to handle games he plays on the desktop. Said as long as he can play Sims!

I can't see anything better for that kind of price so I'm gonna go for it. Thanks again
Thanks OP, had been looking at an ASUS one (£249) in Argos for 11yo daughter for Christmas. Rather go with a Lenovo one as this has DVDRW. Although less SSD memory for what she needs this is awesome. 🤘🏼
Thanks for this deal - just grabbed one for my daughter.
think the coupon just expired sadly, any decent alternatives?
