I was looking for a new laptop for my mother-in-law who's a retired Graphical Designer, and this seemed to fit the bill. Looks like a pretty good workhorse for the money.

Just FYI was £315 from the same seller on Black Friday (see previous threads). Bought for my son who plays Fortnite on it on medium settings no problem decent enough frame rate for him.

I appreciate no time machine but worthwhile knowing it has been nearly £100 / over 20% cheaper hope this helps.

I bought one too but considering the lack of time machines I suppose it's not a bad price..
Rubbish Ryzen processor! Cold!
Decent mobile Ryzen 5! Heat!
... Potentially naff monitor panel! Disappointing!

I wouldn't recommend this for any visual work.

I bought one of these on Black Friday, Sent it back after 3 weeks and got a full refund because the battery would not charge.

I would think twice about purchasing another Lenovo.
makes me feel a bit better, i got stung with this @ £389 after it dropped to £315 a week later, ebuyer/ebay would not give me difference, happy with speed for general use, battery could last a bit longer.

Are you having a laugh? Typical Intel fanboy.
This is great spec for a laptop. I have the same processor on my desktop and it flies. It is faster than my previous Intel processor.

£399 for this spec? you cant go wrong. Its equally capable with Photoshop as it is with office applications. This is a better allrounder than an Intel processor at this price
Bought on Black Friday too for my son, it's not bad speed wise, but all USB's are on the left which is annoying if you want to use a corded gaming mouse, mouse pad is poor, SSD size a bit limiting and no SD card reader. Happy at £315 but £400 not sure.
" I was looking for a new laptop for my Mother-in-law ". Yeap i would say its a fair swap especially as its full HD,so go for it.
