Keeps IT departments as happy as their users
Simple. Flexible. Compatible. The V330 is easy for IT to deploy, offering the simplicity of Windows 10, the flexibility of an Ultrabay drive that can house an optical drive or an additional battery, and the hardware compatibility of multiple USB-C and USB 3.0 ports.

Reliable. Repairable. Secure. The V330 makes IT maintenance easy, too. It's reliable-as shown by the series of rigorous tests it undergoes against shocks, drops, and other extremes-and secure, thanks to its physical camera shutter and integrated TPM 1.2 firmware. And IT can rest easy with the Lenovo Sealed Battery Warranty, offering three-year coverage for non-CRU batteries.

Work and play better
With the widescreen antiglare display with up to FHD (1920 x 1080) resolution, you'll enjoy rich visuals no matter what you're doing. Get your work done. Be creative. Watch a movie. The display opens 180 degrees, making it simple to share and collaborate or just get comfortable using your laptop the way you want.

Working anywhere just got easier
The ergonomic keyboard on the V330 was engineered for comfort and typing accuracy. The large touchpad makes it even easier to be productive wherever you are - no mouse required. And with plenty of life in its QuickCharge battery, plus a rechargeable Ultrabay battery for additional battery life, you'll get a lot of uninterrupted time without worrying about electrical outlets.

Put it through the ringer - we did
The V330 was built to last, and we have the test scores to prove it. We tested it for reliability and durability against eight extreme conditions: shock test; vibration test; keyboard in-system test; hinge life test; fan reliability test; panel scuff test; operating temperature test; and pressure test. This laptop is ready for whatever conditions your business can put it through.

Don't forget to smile
Whether you're meeting with a prospective new client or your colleagues around the world, the V330 has you covered for a superb video-conferencing experience. Stereo speakers deliver rich sound (which is great for music and movies, too). And the HD webcam ensures visuals so crisp and clear you'll feel like you're in the same room with meeting participants.

Good price for a good spec. Company reviews are a bit mixed though. Heated but not sure whether to brave it or not.
I think the screens are not as good on these as the current 330s. Seems only slightly cheaper than normal price £349 on Ebuyer. Buying a laptop is a minefield!
This or acer aspire 3?

This or acer aspire 3?

The Lenovo srceen and battery are reportedly poor. But good spec for the price if you prefer to buy new. The Acer Aspire 3 will not be any better I believe - what's its price?

There are a number of models currently available with basically this same innerds i.e.
AMD Ryzen 5 2500U
8GB RAM,
256 GB SSD.
Radeon Graphics
from Huawei, HP, Lenovo & Others,
With varying screen, & varying connectivity offerings.
I would guess that this screen, is 1920 x 1080 SVA.
IMO this a a good deal.
Just paid £499 for the Huawei D14 which is the same inside as this but has an IPS Screen + metal blah blah..
If this Lenovo is an IPS screen, then this is a very good deal.
Watched the last MOTD of the season on my Huawei D14 and the IPS screen is fab.
Malwarebytes Free version takes only 44 seconds to scan on this hardware combination.
I've got Office 2010, Chrome, in addition to Windows Home & Blah.
Very little bloatware on the Huawei D14.
I suggest you pay with Paypal for a potential second layer of protection in addition to your credit card.
Is this the best laptop for the price? Very close to pulling the trigger.

Hold out for ips screen
No need to be at £500+ for decent spec

OK so for the price this looks like a solid option then. I don't really want to pay £500+.
Yes for that spec can't fault it mate, my daughter is photography student so needs the quality screen unfortunately for me. But yeah if a std screen is fine then I'd be all over this already

Just ordered it, it'll be here Wednesday. It's mostly for using in bed, browsing, videos and stuff like that so hopefully the screen won't bother me too much, I just wanted something nippy as lag would annoy me but with these specs that shouldn't be an issue. Hopefully I can format Windows right off the bat and reinstall it to get rid of any bloatware.
For that this is a great buy, enjoy

Some guy did a comparision between stock and after a reformat and it was a 6% performance gain so I'll definitely be doing that.
Spent 2 weeks looking at laptops - got sucked into trying to find a bargain. Just picked up a Zenbook i7 14” touchscreen rrp 1299 for 899. 300 more than I wanted to pay. But if looks awesome. Anything under £500 feels like accepting a really inferior product eg poor screen, poor battery, poor build....it is indeed a minefield.
I have a similar spec HP laptop.

I'm not 100% sure if this is a vendor specific problem, but judging by posts around the internet it is not, the 2500 apu, when unplugged and cold booting it will lock the CPU clock speed to 0.38GHz, it's very frustrating. This can be fixed by restarting, I've yet to see BIOS updates resolve this issue for my HP laptop. It does look like some manufactures have fixed it on their devices.

Here are a few links on some laptops:

forums.tomshardware.com/thr…02/
h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/…093 (the post is incorrectly marked as solved)
community.acer.com/en/…ghz (seems to be fixed by BIOS update)
reddit.com/r/t…an/

Just be cautious I guess, or at least give it a good test when you get it and return within the first 7 days (or is it 21 days?).

It's a good buy though.

MrHuk, that's bad using it in your bed. Your laptop needs air.

I guess I could move my bed into the garden

I've never actually owned a laptop so I have no idea how hot they get, I guess we'll see, if it's bad I'll buy one of those cooling pads.
Fantastic specs for the price. Decent iGPU in this CPU too

I think this issue is the inlet/outlet fans are underneath the laptop (going by the few photos on Google) and your blanket will be blocking the vents.
Was so tempted until I saw the directional keys. Can't stand those small up and down arrows.
Purchased one recently. Great laptop and perfectly adequate for general Web browsing and a touch of video editing.

Had an issue with the fan constantly running every other minute or so. Which was annoying, after viewing a YouTube video and adjusting some settings which quickly rectified the issue.
My only gripe is with the touch pad, the click in buttons are not the best for the right click option and the enter button via the touch pad. Feel budget and not always responsive compared to my old workhorse Samsung laptop
Can I play GTA 5 on this?
ChrisKaru13/05/2019 19:04

Different laptops.

Which of the two is better though?, and why?, thanx.
Could you play any sort of games on this?
My mother is looking for a laptop to edit 1080p mobile phone videos for her beginner clogs using premier pro. Would this cut it or does she need one with a dedicated graphics card?

One of those lap trays (basically a tray glued onto a big bean bag) is good at preventing the laptop ventilation from being blocked up.
This or the hp in this deal hotukdeals.com/dea…658 anyone got any thoughts or experience with the hp? I'm not sure about buying a refurbished laptop having had several bad experiences with refurb monitors in the past.
Would it play Fortnite, as no doubt my son will be asking
By the way they have upped the listing price, 20% off is now £355 not £325
Any room to add a HDD too?
Well I bought a used used lenovo i5 of them yesterday so am cancelling that. I thought that was a good deal but this is worth the extra for being new, having a bigger ssd, longer warrenty, brand new (other had possible scratches), and the ryzen is said to de about 10 to 15% faster. Thanks for the post.
Back to 399.99 now.
