Worth adding screen size is 1920 x 1080 Screen and it claims a battery life of 8 hours.

Will it run Crysis?

How did you come up with your name??
A lot of laptop for the money and likely sufficient for the majority of users too, it'll even handle gaming reasonably well.

Probably, or by looking at reviews. There's other ways of knowing if it can be upgraded using software too.

About the same as the equivalent 8250u / 8550u in photoshop and lightroom I believe.

The cpu performance is about the same, but GPU performance on the Ryzen is far stronger.
Worth noting that some manufactures limit the ryzen gpu so you could be stuck with on 1gb of GPU ram. Don’t know if this applies to Lenovo

Ask at the Lenovo Forum. My Thinkpad, the manual said 8GB RAM max. but people on the forum upgraded it to 16GB fine & even give link to the RAM they used.

The Huawei is better by miles, as expected it cost more, it's premium build with a metal body and high quality IPS screen.

I like the Lenovo 330s range but this V330 is not as good and would not recommend.
Bad screen, short battery life, not high quality build like the 330s model.

Some bad reviews from owners here.

Thanks but I'm not focusing on just Lenovo for a new laptop. When I got my last new laptop I don't think there was anything in the manual about DIY upgrading so wondered where people got their info, so I can do the same without relying on anyone else.

Not great, it's a TN.

Nothing wrong with TN at 1080p. Most people who PC game buy TN panels, I have personally owned a 1080/144hz TN panel, a 1080/60hz IPS panel and now own a 1440p/144hz Freesync TN Panel. Not as vibrant as IPS/VA, but alot cheaper and still has decent colours. I find with a little bit of tweaking TNs still look great.

Will this be good for photoshop and Lighroom

What does TN mean?

TN (Twisted Nematic) is the most common technology and also the oldest. The main advantage is that it provides the shortest response times, making them good for gaming. they are cheap to manufacture, resulting in low prices for end users.

The drawbacks to the technology is the color shifts that occur at wider viewing angles. There are large differences in quality between different products, but the lower-end ones will exhibit color shift even at moderate angle changes. A TN-based display can usually be identified through these color distortions when viewing the picture from above or from the sides.

I had bought a Dell Gaming laptop about 10 years ago & then entered the service tag on their website, it gave a list of software/drivers/manuals for my laptop. One of those manuals was a user maintenance manual which shows how to disassemble & upgrade parts of the system. That was how I swapped out my knackered motherboard.
I would have bought this if I didn't buy one a few months ago for double price

Not with a TN screen if you are serious.

To be fair i think I would class myself as a moderate photoshop light room user.. Currently I'm using a mac book air late 2010 with 120gb

I don't make money from it. Just wanted a decent machine for on the go....
Good price and good laptop spec.

WOW!!, now that's bad!!. :-(

Not saying that you're lying or anything, but, why would any half decent Company do the unnecessary though?, or ...

That's a genuine question by the way, thanx.
I play Star Craft 2 and LOL on this laptop. There is a compartment at the bottom where you can add a secondary battery, I use it for the extra USB slot. It's been very good, I've been using it regularly for 4 months now. Mostly gaming.
After googling it looks like there are only 2 usb ports on this? It's this true? Otherwise I'm sold.

Hi it's got one hidden under the keyboard too, I keep the mouse permanently plugged in, but you can buy a secondary battery or just keep the cover on.

The battery life is awful, but you can add a secondary battery at the slot underneath. Main issue is with display. It is a TN display and a very bad one. Unlike an IPS display, this display isn't very bright and the viewing angles are quiet limited.

Evening,

If you have a search around YouTube you can find users of the HP x360 which has the same chip in complaining of the gpu being gimped to 1gb. There are also some complaints of software not seeing how much memory the gpu has and thus it doesn’t start. It’s also worth noting that some people say this is the minimum amount of RAM and that it will dedictE more as the game and driver dictate.

just noting what I have seen, this laptop may not be involved. In short, it’s a mess

YMMV
