I found this via a deal for another refurbished PC on HUKD. Seems ok, Next best price I have found is 100.00+

I'm not sure if is comes with a power supply. I'm also not sure what the 1 year itzoo warrenty is worth.

Also maybe it's worth mentioning that replacement batteries are about 30.00 on ebay.

Do you know of anything better for this price or less?

The blurb that the OP cut and pasted says 90 days warranty, not 1 year.
It's got a faulty network port. Also, for me the x240 along with the t440 had fake mouse buttons which people didn't like and Lenovo reverted to real buttons on the x250 t450. People were known to replace them it was so annoying.
Thanks OP. Worth highlighting it has " Info: Faulty Network Port". Can anyone confirm if these deals from them, come with a mains charger?

They always come with original chargers. Had 50+ machines from them now, always OEM, which is a big bonus. The damaged network port might be an issue, also ThinkPads of this era prone to pressure marks on the display and 40-series machines have the horribly Clickpad things - if you tap it doesn’t matter. As a cheap ‘netbook’ type machine, it’s great value, performance is rapid and it’s slim and durable. This is a single machine though, so if someone buys it, the deal is gone. Change that SSHD for an SSD too.

Warranty is 90 days for ‘bargain’ items but I’ve not had a failure from ITZOO so far other than niggles I detected at purchase.

I've had a few Thinkpads of similar specs and vintages.

The screens are genuinely the worst I have ever seen on any laptop of any age. They're milky and blurry and horrid to look at.

I can't believe people were paying thousands for them. Just because it's for 'business' doesn't mean you want your eyes slowly assaulted until they burst.

I'd never, ever use another without an upgraded screen.

The screen doesn't degrade the older it gets. The last one I had cost £2800 in 2009. I paid £80 and still felt robbed.

You could fish a laptop, any laptop, out of landfill and it'll be easier on the eyes than one of these.

There are lots of good value ex corp thinkpads to be had through ebay and gumtree sellers who are either recycling business or people who have some contact with the leasing / disposal companies. Just watch out for the screen resolution though as even t4xx series are being sold with 1366 x 768 screens and they don't necessarily tell you. They can be upgraded though if you are tecnically inclined.

ITZOO do tell you the resolution though and given the price, I usually run with it.

Agreed. But it’s £79 so the only other thing you’ll get near this price is usually a refurb netbook which has its own slew of issues mostly - slow, no storage or RAM and no expansion. The screen is poor but it’s fine to get by with. For some reason it’s hard to find 12.5” 1080p panels - I have an Elitebook 820 G3 I could do with upgrading the display on.

I disagree having owned the x230 and x220 (for work purposes). My opinion though !

and the difference between the upgraded screen is night and day.

True, I didn't notice that. This image on the page is what got my attention.
