Cheapest I've seen these two tablets, and strong reviews even at their initial prices. £30 off the 8 inch, and £50 off the 10 inch.

I bought the older Lenovo Yoga 8 last week for £99 and despite the lower spec, I think it's a brilliant device. Solidly built with a phenomenal battery life. YMMV but streaming radio at full volume (screen display off) with both wifi and bluetooth enabled, I managed to get 36 hours of continuous usage from a 4 hour charge. I can only imagine that the Yoga 2 will be even better.

I got a 10.1 inch (yoga 2) one for £50 in John Lewis a few weeks ago (was VERY lucky, return, no box / charger etc)...

Anyhow, not just showing off, but to say its an excellent tablet in many ways, great display, sound and battery life. Brilliant for enjoying media. The design is unusual, but mostly this is a very good thing, nice to hold to read, and the built in stand works great.

Some possible issues (wouldnt put me off recommending it though)...
Can be a little laggy compared to some devices when browsing (but mostly smooth).
Havent found much in the way of roms (probably be some soon (?), still quite a new device).
Not really found a decent cheapish case for it that is slim, protective and allows the full stand functions (there are some for the Yoga 1, but apparently dont quite fit the yoga 2).

Good tablet. Positive youtube review hot off the press click here . Like the idea of the built in stand and the battery bulge incorporating front facing speakers. Really like the hudl2 refurb i bought off the hukd deal a few weeks ago but it's not perfect (short battery life and intermittent charging issues despite a recent software fix). The lenovo is more expensive but is arguably a finished product and better value. Hot from me.

its a cool piece of kit for a decent price but way too limited.. android not windows, micro usb not full size, not enough ram.. etc etc. probably talking about these android yogas in general.

OTG for £3, 1GB RAM perfectly OK (This deal is 2 GB), no Windows (a distinct advantage).

Lenova do the same size tablets with windows 8.1 etc but priced accordingly. Windows if you want to do some productive work, android for media consumption and games etc. Depends what you need. You pays your money....

Heat Added. Got one at this price 3 weeks ago and loving it so far but....WiFi seems to drop out(often) I'm hoping it's a software issue not a hardware issue other than that it does everything I need it to do.

Actually it has 2GB RAM, which really is plenty. Otherwise you're right, OTG cable or Micro SD is fine for adding storage, and personally Android is perfect for my usage. But each to their own really.

your WiFi might be dropping because of power managment ( check smart settings)

got last years model and the build quality is excellent... lags every now and then but to be expected given the relatively low spec....would think this model wouldn't have any lag as its a better spec....heat

Seems like this is £189 for the 4G/LTE version at the Lenovo corporate purchase. It also has a link "share discounts with family and friends"

Not sure if that code will work directly on their normal eshop, but maybe worth a shot if anyone is picking one up!

Personally I wanted the windows version with keyboard but is not available in the UK for whatever reason.

Here's the direct link,

Personally been waiting for these dual OS tablets for ages, but Google stopped Asus releasing theirs couple years back as it didn't want to loose more ground to Microsoft. BUT they are back!

Is this tablet as good as the Samsung Tab 4? I can't decide between the two.

Does anyone know how to cast the screen of these? Mlh support or HDMI out is not existent on these tablets.

There are equivalent specced windows convertibles/tablets for around this price but the screen is always 720p~.

I had the same issue but I had turned on some energy saving wifi mode, when I turned that off it worked fine.

If was in the settings somewhere to do with advanced energy saving features and one of them was for wifi. Make sure the energy saving wifi feature is turned off.
