Seems like a really good price for the spec to me.
£990 @ Amazon.
£849 @ Currys / PC World
£749 @ JL.
£739 @ Laptop Outlet
Comes with Windows 8.1 Pro, but says upgradeable to Windows 10.
I bought one despite some reports of unreliability (see reviews). I think Costco’s warranties are normally pretty good.
You need to be a member of Costco to buy.

Don't buy this! I own one unfortunately, and its the biggest heap of junk I've ever had.

Overall I'm hoping for the best, slightly nervous about a couple of the reliability issues reported in Amazon reviews, and hoping if there are any problems Costco's 2year warranty will rescue me!

Do you have to add an extra 5 percent if you are not a Costco member?

Looking at Costco's website, I think you are probably right:

"Published prices are for members & online subscribers only. A surcharge of 5% (+VAT at the standard rate) will be added to total purchases made by non-Costco UK members and non-Costco UK online subscribers."

So presumably £577.50 for non-members.
564.99 If you add a Annual Online subscription I think its for everyone.
Great laptop for me before updating to Windows 10. Slower performance, much worse battery life and in tablet mode it became unbearably slow. If you buy it, I strongly advise to keep to Windows 8.

You are aware that you can roll back to Windows 8 within 30days of update to 10 without any effect to your files or drivers?
Screw Costco and their non-members prices. That's just a crap way of jacking up prices by the back door.

Unfortunately its past the 30 day window now
I'm not hugely enthused about a fourth generation i7-4510U in 2016 and more so because of the HD 4400 graphics, considering we are two generations on from that but then it all comes down to price and the price seems okay, considering the pretty good screen. I like the design. Have some more heat, not least for for going that extra mile on detail, thanks.

I mist say I am a bit perplexed, I haven't heard of anyone having problems with Windows 10 on a higher end machine such as this. (Basically not that much changes in terms of drivers and the basic hardware stuff.)

You might want to try a clean install, it should remove any Lenovo bloatware that is present and might actually fix your issues. You can also put clean windows 8.1 on it. (you don't need to pay anything as your machine is already registered on Windows servers so it will automatically activate and the process is fairly simple with instructions on Microsoft pages, it would require a data backup and reinstall of any applications you might have but considering how unhappy you sound it might be worth an afternoon to do this.)

Anyway a good price for the money, if you get a lemon return/replace it, I never understand people leaving bad reviews on Amazon such as "used it for an hour and then put it aside as it didn't work" if you pay 500£ for a machine it should bloody well work.

I find I save considerably more than the membership costs, but appreciate its not for everyone. The saving on this laptop (assuming you wanted it) pays for 6 years membership.

Looks like UK only according to FAQs
Seems to be a lot specs of Ultrabook for the price.

Why the reviews are not good on this one? What are the general problems people reported?

Given the not good reviews, I think I would prefer the HP Spectre x360 with i5 at £550 over this.

Screens cracking / flickering / poor yellows, motherboards failing, wifi dropouts, boot errors, software bugs.... There are quite a few people having issues if you check the review links. I suspect most issues have simple fixes / avoidance measures if you are moderately tech savvy, however it is disappointing they occur in the first place.

Screens cracking - Be cognizant of the thin glass screen, treat it with care, don't leave it in direct sunlight
Screen flickering - Disable power management
Poor Yellows - Update BIOS and drivers
Motherboards failing - This one worries me most. Some report their machines run hot which may be a cause / symptom
Wifi dropouts - Someone on Youtube identified there may be some cross talk between the USB3 port and the wifi adapter. e.g. if a flash drive is plugged in wifi wont work. May not be the only root cause, but easy to avoid if it is
Boot errors (disk not found) - BIOS reset appears to fix.
Other software bugs - Some may be easy to fix, some may not.

A lot of users would probably give up and justifiably leave bad reviews. I'm basing my views on research, not hands on experience - it hasn't arrived yet.

The x360 also has it fair share of bad reviews though, is more expensive (the £550 one is refurbished?), lower resolution screen, generally lower specs. It does look better (IMO) and have better battery life though. Between the two, personally the Yoga is the better gamble.

It was an i5 version from Currys online over Christmas I have seen. Just checked, not available anymore.

It is not important to me as I have a XPS 13 from last year. Just a thought.

I would be interested to see Yogo Pro 3 if it drop to similar price. Yogo Pro 3 was very popular in China, more than XPS 13.

I went for this instead, seems to have received better reviews. Only full HD not ultra but that will certainly do! Had to order it from store but it seems to be available online now (they didn't have many available however). There's also the i7 model available for £50 extra.

Good find. Toshiba Radius was on here few weeks ago for the 1st time.

It seems to be a good price for the specs of an Ultrabook.

It has good reviews or better reviews than Yoga 2 Pro. I have seen reviews for 4K version saying the 4K screen is very good. Other people said the FHD screen is good too.

Although it does not looks as attractive as the top Ultrabooks (big edges around screen), screen is one inch smaller, and still bigger and heavier, but it only cost half of their price. Half cost plus good quality and screen made it a good value choice of Ultrabook.

Get Johnlewis to price match hp pavilion x360 s108na for 549.99... Mostly happy with that one apart from driver issues for touchpad. Touchscreen, keyboard, build quality seem good..
