Seems a pretty decent spec for the price. Not a huge SSD but an SSD nevertheless, and could be swapped out quite cheaply. Orange colour only, won't be everyones cup of tea but hope it helps someone looking for a 14" 2 in 1

    According to lenovo forum here:
    forums.lenovo.com/t5/…835
The SSD can definitely be switched, and no it isn't an M.2 Drive
Good spot. That's a lot of machine for the money... Quite tempted!

Although note, as mentioned in the link I posted, you may need to remove the drive cage from the 5mm drive that comes with the laptop in order to fit a standard 7mm drive.
I'm using a Lightroom and Photoshop. How thus would preform? Is this display accurate with colours?
Terrible company absolutely awful service. 8 month old laptop right hand hinge broke totally refused to repair it under warranty. Received extremely sarcastic emails after saying that it wasnt fit for its purpose. A laptop should open and close.

I wouldnt touch another item theirs again, ever. It cost them more to return from repair centre in germany than it would to have repair it.

    Give them a wide berth.

Here is a review from notbookcheck Sliwka, it should answer your questions.

In terms of colour reproduction it seems reasonable for everyday use but not so good if your doing professional editing. The i7 will run those programs proficiently but again, it depends on how intensive the work your doing is

Apologies, i7 I meant of course
Good price for a Yoga 3.

I was expecting better results for the screen given it is IPS FHD. From the review, it is even worst than Flex 2 14. I used to see Flex 2 14 deals quite cheaply.

I used to recommend Flex 2 14 and 15 to people who want cheap laptops with good FHD IPS screens. I think now Flex 2 with FHD IPS screen is quite difficult to find in the UK.

Having said that the price is still hot for the yoga 3.

If the price was to increase by another £100, you might be better off buying a smaller Ultrabook with better screen, such as, Toshiba Radium and HP Spectre x360.

Someone posted the new Yoga 700 with i5-6200u and 256GB SSD for cheaper at £490 after cashback.

The i7-5500u and i5-6200u score very similar results.

The SSD is 2.5 inch SATA.

    No spare M.2 slot either.

If the SSD is too small for you, go for the new Yoga 700 with 256GB SSD.

On the right of the laptop picture, there is a box says £50 cashback ends 7 April 2016.

I do not know how did you miss it.

Just in case you still miss it. Link below.

Yep, sons laptop is on it's 3rd hard rive & he only bought it a xmas. OK, this is an SSD that shouldn't fall down like a standard HD, but then, a standard drive should last a wee bit longer.

Thanks huang, it wasn't showing up on my phone but I see it now. Decent deal, although remember cashback isn't always certain

I agree cashback is never 100%.

But the straight £50 cashback with no string attached should be very much safe. Just remember to claim in time, and follow up if cashback not received in time.

Had a similar experience with them. Bought a asus i5 laptop with 1080 screen.
Turned it on and was a big bright green pixel/pixels in the centre of the screen. Couldnt even look at anything as your eye was drawn straight to it. Terrible for supposedly HD screen. Sent it back and the refused to replace saying stuck pixels are allowed on new screens. They ignored any emails and are just a tinpot disgrace for a company
Luckily Asus got involved and replaced it straight away.

Asus is responsible for an Asus Laptop, not Lenovo.
This model is NOT listed in the Lenovo £50 Cashback deal. Please be aware of this. It is only the newer 700/900 models. List can be found here:

Just reading the reviews, so many people are complaining about the poor hardware, a few reviewers have mentioned they are/have bought a macbook air to replace their Yoga. you can buy a good used one for £500-600.
