Why not? They've always been very good about returns for me.

They sold him a faulty spell checker.

Think the 128 TB SSD is worth it alone

Not bad. Needs a RAM upgrade but very good otherwise.

The CPU is absolutely file (before anyone swoops in slates it).
It scores similar to an i3 7100u.

Hot from me.

Can you give advice on how to do this please? Thanks

If I'm not bothered by the touch screen. Is this a similar deal? Better? Worse?

Any expertise gratefully received. Thanks

Cracking 2-in1 Ultrabook, typing on one now albeit the i7, 8GB model.

Only con is that one of the USB3 ports is also the power supply input, it's a a dual purpose socket.

There will either be a separate small compartment for RAM on the bottom of the laptop, which you can get to by undoing a screw or you'll need to undo several screws and take off the base. Either way, it's straight forward. Most likely have one slot for RAM so buy a single 8GB RAM.

I have to say that touch screen on these new fully folding Windows laptops is a revelation. Once you have one, you will never go back.

Yes, you'll have throw away, or try to sell, the existing 4GB.

I have a few issues with mine. The screen occasionally turns red on start-up, the left mouse click oftens acts as right & the fan runs for no good reason.

Any idea what HDMI this is? Want to output to a 2500x1080 ultra wide monitor.

Assuming you means specs, can you post a link to a 14" full HD laptop with better specs for the same money or less?

Not really...
Better than an iPad if you're after a windows laptop specifically and certain full windows programs that aren't available in a tablet app store.
If you're after a tablet experience, the iPad is a much more polished interface and convenient form factor.

is there anything more higher spec 256gb ssd, 8gb ram i5/i7 FHD for perhaps 500? looking at dell xps and seems you have to wait for outlook deals and jump quickly...

Typing this on the i3 version of this laptop from Curry's that I picked up for daily use around Xmas (albeit now upgraded with a spare 512GB SSD). It's a cracking machine, and usually feels snappier than my i7/16GB work X1 Carbon! Only time I've seen it struggle has been video rendering. Very likely to get another one for son#2 to take to Uni. All my W10 machines are touchscreens and seriously couldn't be doing with a non-touchscreen laptop any more.

Yeah for an overall machine much better than an iPad. I can't find my way round an iPad. My wife downloaded pdf's then I could not find them at a later date for example.

Apart from price, how does the yoga compare to Asus Zenbook ux360ua 13.3inch

I find smaller laptops aren't as good value for money as the 15.6 screen size. I would like the smaller 14" or 11" but when compared in price to the equivalent spec 15.6", they seem more expensive.

I also bought one around the same time, and popped 512GB SSD in mine too! Would agree with your comments.
Mine does not have a backlit keyboard.
The service manual for these can be found at

download.lenovo.com/con…pdf

RAM/disk upgrades require removal of bottom cover, and is covered in the service manual.

Can understand where you are coming from, as my previous laptop had 15.6in (1366x768) screen however...

Even though the Yoga 14 has a slightly smaller screen, I would not go back to my old (15.6 HD) laptop. I hardly notice the smaller screen estate (on the Yoga)and even my old tired eyes can spot the difference between HD and Full HD screen resolution. An eleven inch screen however, is a step too far (for me).

I got this laptop from j lewis, but with 8gb of ram and j lewis 2 year warranty for £359, worth the extra £30 I think.

i wanted the 14" when i last bought my laptop but they were very expensive when compared to 15.6" so for the small difference, i didn't want to pay the extra cost. the 11" (or just under) tend to be better value than 14" but still 15.6" tops the league table to deals being flagged up on hukd.

i may go for the 11" for my next laptop as i find 15.6" on the large side for me. it's like having a blooming TV on my lap!

Exactly. They inflate prices before reducing item , then say it's in a sale. They have been doing this and getting away with it for years.

lol. that will be no good. i am a slim woman and that would mean i would have to end up with fatter legs. not good at all.

i was in southend yesterday and the number of fat women i see waddling around was worrying. i was thinking OMG, i am so glad i don't look like that. they were so bad, they had flop bellies like the men.

not bad still not for me but much better then what most people go into this shops buy 1tb hardrives for old people who never need that much storage and ssd would be better
