Top features:

- 2 in 1 computing gives you the best of both laptop and tablet functionality

- AMD processing combines quick everyday performance with great graphics

- 1 TB HD storage has plenty of room for music, films and more

The Yoga 510-14AST 14" 2 in 1 is part of our Social range, which features great-value laptops designed to keep you connected to what matters. It's ideal for social media, making notes, email, and shopping online.

2 in 1 computing

The Lenovo YOGA 510 has a 360° rotating screen which lets you move between four modes in seconds. Laptop mode gives you complete control of your PC using the keyboard, while flipping the screen round switches to touchscreen-only tablet mode for fast browsing and comfortable viewing.

There are two stand modes too, which let you get extra-comfortable when watching films or playing games. However you like to work and play, the YOGA 510 has you covered.

AMD processing

Processing is handled by the latest AMD A6 processor, offering the speed and power you need for clear and detailed visuals.

A HD 14" touchscreen delivers smooth high-quality video playback, making the YOGA 510 a great choice for streaming your favourite series on a long journey. Specialist sound by the experts at Harman Audio means everything sounds great too.

1 TB HD
storage

Take your music, films, and documents with you wherever you go. The YOGA 510 has a large 1 TB HD that lets you quickly access all of your important files.

Backing up is faster too thanks to the USB 3.0 ports, which let you transfer large files like videos and software between the laptop and external storage in seconds. There's also an HDMI port, and thanks to the always-on feature you can keep your devices powered up via the USB.

Microsoft Office & internet security

This PC doesn't come with a full version of Microsoft Office or Internet Security. But don't worry, you'll find great savings on software with the bundles available on the ‘Top Deals' tab on this page.

I'd go for the new Acer swift 1, All Aluminium design, Full-HD IPS screen Lenovo is TN, genuine 12hrs battery life, finger print recognition, passive cooling, backlit keyboard and has USB Type C.

That looks really decent for the money. :-)

But is it touchscreen enabled also though?.
Amd A6 is such a poor processor that this is a non starter the minute you look at the price tag
I have the AMD A9 version of the OP's LENOVO Yoga 510 Laptop hybrid (bought last Year Black Friday/Cyber Monday Weekend time).

It's very good!, but let's just say, sometimes I would luvvvvvvvvv for it to be quicker, lol.

So for it to have the lower-specced A6 CPU in there instead ...

As a fancy form of Tablet ofcourse, hand over fist, you'd not find many out there that are physically faster than this I guess?.

But as a Laptop however ...

(Thing's may be a wee bit different, lol).

It's a very decent product though. :-)

Ps.

I believe someone Posted this on HUKD before, but for ARGOS, which also sold this very same A6 LENOVO Yoga 510 Laptop a few Month's back also? - but for a lot more then this though ... (£379.99, or more? - if I'm not mistaken?).

Which was EXPENSIVE! (considering?).

No, for 2 in 1. I would pick the Acer spin 5 on Tesco ebay with the discount code, comes to £347, but the screen is slightly smaller though.

Yours has a better screen, this has 720 TN screen, on a 2 in1, it's awful. Would also prefer an SSD in a 2 in 1 laptop.

I hear, hehehehe.

13.3 inch screens, 12 inch screens, and ... :-)

These are all Tablet territories man?, lol. :-D

Don't people like things with 'MEAT' in them anymore? - 15 inch, 15.6 inch, 17 inch+?, hahahahahaha. ;-)

Earlier you could upgrade laptop CPUs . Those were the days . Now due to thin and light , you cannot upgrade as all soldered even ram . But intel blocked CPUs in firmware as well with Intel Management Engine.

I'd have been very tempted by that as a Linux machine, but 4GB of soldered RAM is a bit of a bummer. Much rather have 8 these days
My daughter is looking for a lightweight laptop with plenty of storage/ memory she is a writer but is also ill so needs it to be comfortable and easy to handle.
Any suggestions please?
