Does anyone know if this much of an upgrade over a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2?

Not getting the 10% off?!?

1280x800

I'm oot

is this any good?

I have the 10" version and I promise if you take the punt you will be very very pleased. The design and battery life make you smile.

I have the Nexus 10 and I personally much prefer the Yoga.

Now updated to Kit Kat.

10" version available for about £153 with the 10% off.

1280x800. Higher than the original iPad and similar sized mini. No one said the mini was terrible resolution when that came out. For most people this will be fine. Supposed to be a decent piece of kit. Was looking at it to replace a generic tab but the lack of hdmi killed it for me. Was 150 pounds then too. Bargain I reckon for well made and thought out tab from a good manufacturer.

Great......

The Galaxy Tab 2 is a bit of a dog so the bar isn't that high. Yes, the Yoga is clearly better but don't expect the brilliance of Nexus 7 (2013). It's also kinda heavy (for a tablet)

You have to hold it to believe the weight is no issue. One word "ergonomics"

How do you get the 10% off

I got it very good tablet , highly recommended

I can see it by just viewing the item - scroll down and on the right it tells you what you'll pay if you add it to your basket, ie £85.49.

That would be 'not sexy at all'.

My father has the 10" model. Screen resolution is a bit lame and the lack of an app tray is annoying. .....but its well made, looks good, and £85 is cheap for an 8" tablet.

The HD+ has a 1920x1280 resolution 9" screen. The Yoga 8 has a 1280x800 8" screen.

However, the standard Nook firmware does not provide the full Android experience. You'll have to install CyanogenMod 10.1 using a MicroSD card for the installation process if you want to get the most out of the Nook HD+. Additionally, the Nook HD+ has no cameras.

For watching movies and browsing YouTube, I'd get the Nook HD+. If I wanted a tablet with cameras, an inbuilt stand and better battery life, I'd get the Lenovo.

It all depends on what you will be using the tablet for and if you feel comfortable installing custom firmware on the device.

It's in one of the images. The first image looks a little like it's two flat things that fold against each other which it's not. Plus Lenovo made a tablet/netbook thing that would twist and fold back on itself with a fairly decent keyboard, one of the ideapads.

How does this compare to the Galaxy Tab 3 8? I know the tab has more RAM but does that actually help the performance?

just install the "google now launcher" from the play store = nexus launcher.

This is a great tablet but I would warn buyers against upgrading to Kit-Kat until Lenovo have fixed all the bugs. A lot of the streaming apps don't work properly, Google Play Music has dropouts and interference and streetview doesn't work at all.

Just beneath the main title info. It's in a frame that also refers to nectar card but still can't see how it relates to 20% off voucher as nectar points are, as far as I can see, in multiples of £2.50 not % discounts.

looks like lenovo has fixed that

I'll bet these are all 4.4.2 update pre OTA fix returns

I have the 10" from an Amazon warehouse deal (3G as well). The KitKat update works fine now. The screen is more than adequate for me (maybe it's my eyes). I have just got a nook HD+ with Cyanogenmod 11 and yes, it is very nice and light in comparison, but it certainly doesn't have the robust build quality of the Yoga. A HD version of the Yoga 10" is now available, but at a price.
