Very good price for the Yoga Book. I paid £450 for mine 2 months ago.

I have watching the prices of these for some time, you can order the Windows 10 version from Amazon.FR for €399 which is a good deal if you order with a Halifax Clarity card or similar. This is a good price for the Android version, but it is only running Android Marshmallow 6, not sure when Nougat 7.0 update will be available though.

Nougat

Knowing Lenovo probably never, however in their schedule list it does say upgradable to Nougat October 2017.

The price of computer hardware has really escalated with the drop in value of the pound. Just over a year ago, you could get this for a similar price:

I guess we'll have to accept this a good price in today's pound.

When you've had one of these in your hands, you'll understand why it seems pricier than the unit you posted above. Both are good, but these Yoga books are something else.
Got my wife the Windows version for the exact reason stated above, I knew there would be issues with Android updates, and the writing part.
In Windows, writing on it is handled by the OS, so will be kept up to date, but in Android it needs a specific app, I never had confidence that it would be properly supported.

Wonderful bit of kit. Increible engineering.

I’ve been looking at these the past few days with a view to buying. Bilbob, can you tell me whether you can open a PDF document, add notes to it and then save it? Seems like the sort of thing you should be able to do! Thanks!

I use the app 'Squid' and you can do this. Not sure if you can do it in the free version, but it's worth the small price if regularly taking notes

I second that. Squid is a good app for making notes on PDFs. Sadly, you can only do this with a monthly subscription now. Inkredible is another app worth looking for this.

I have recently purchased this tablet and am very happy with the writing pad and pen. I thought I'd be using the real paper and ink, but the stylus works so well on the Wacom surface that there's no need to use the ink tip.

Beatiful looking device andI love the idea of this but without a proper keyboard, its practically useless unless you're cartoonist illustrator on the go.

Buy a Matebook, LG Gram, Surface or anything else.

It's a different machine and that was a really good Lightning Deal price. I got one at that time and they were being churned on eBay for £450 when the deal ended, so I'm not sure if that was due to the pound as opposed to just a really good price outright.

The Yoga Book is and always has been a very expensive tablet due to that super futuristic and slim design.

A quick update, Amazon have just dropped the Windows 10 version from £449 to £409.14, this is a decent price if you don't want to order from Amazon.fr at €399.

Selling a pc without the latest OS, not the best plan in the world especially with the unreliability of Android updates.

How are these for extensive typing? I'm a researcher and looking for a light, small yet fast laptop as a second option to my desktop and these look incredible but I've heard not such great things about the keyboard, which I would be using to write a good deal. Any comments would be much appreciated!
