sorted byIf it wasn't it would be 3x the price though and probably less powerful. It would probably look nice though, so I'll give you that one.
Very true that it would be a lot more expensive I got a Windows tablet as Samsung galaxy book 2 which I love need to get a replacement now but don't want an Android its to limited.
Haha yeah that will be even more than 3x haha, I was looking around but when I got the galaxy book 2 with windows I got it at decent price about 400 pounds but anything close to that now with new specs your looking at 900 pounds and easly more.
Now since they bloated ms teams to the max it starting to struggle anything when running ms teams as well
Still need to find something I really love the 2 in 1 concepts and I use it alot so would prefer that.
Honestly for media playback android is far superior than ipad. Even for general Web browsing, emails etc.
Ipad will only be better for photo/video editing and graphic design
More worrying is it's Lenovo, so you won't be getting much luck with updates.
LOL to be fair I had assumed you were referring to a fruity alternative
Wasn't talking about iPad but windows version tablet
Android is limited how? Compared to windows, never used Windows tablets but found Android very useful
But £549 for only 128gb is too greedy. If this was 256GB, I may had gone for it.
Also reviews suggest screen is not very durable. Couple of negative review all reporting cracked screens

Youtube vids suggest historically Lenovo tends to not update last gen tablets so this may not see the new Android OS. Update support is a concern
For Web browsing, media consumption etc android is fine but I find Windows handles multiple windows better, external monitors better, and github.dev (vs code in a browser) sometimes doesn't render in android browsers.
Limited!?
Android can be fully flashed/ customised meaning the code is an open market for anyone sat in any part of the world to customise the entire phone to do what they want it to do. Then they can offer this better/ customised ROM to anyone that owns the device anywhere to help make it better.. A quite pleasant experience I may add.
Almost anything other than android is shut door. All the code is hidden/ rigged.
Infact I'll do you one better.. ifruit.. cannot be tweaked by anyone other than a single office somewhere in Amrica. It's not simply locked but it is fortified with an unknown code that nobody else can have access to. It destroys the phone when you try to get in.
For a device that is out of bounds how is that even fair when you filled it with your lifes most personal data.
I'm sorry you find Android limited for your purposes but I can assure you that it is anything but especially in comparison to others. (edited)

We really need a budget Windows tablet again (someone will tell me there already is one) - don't think the Linx brand is around any more.
I prefer Windows, if I was to choose (though I'm using a humble Fire HD 8 Plus tablet at the moment - that I've Google-fied with xda fire tools!).
Many China brands offered dual boot at one point but that fad seems to have died off. (edited)
I have Windows, Android and Apple tablets, Windows tablets are profoundly awful, using Windows in touch mode is like eating M&Ms on a rollercoaster with chopsticks. And it has zero decent tablet apps. Apples IOS is ok but it is so limited you would be pulling your hair out to do anything productive with it as a pseudolaptop (it cant scale to widescreen on an external monitor). My recommendation is a Samsung Tablet with Android as it has Dex mode which is as close to a desktop laptop you can get on a tablet (also has good multi-monitor support).
That's roughly my position, got a samsung phone with DeX support but it doesn't support high resolutions (5120x1440, highest I can do is 2560x1440) and it's broadly fine but a few apps don't play ball (reolink) and running nvidia gamestreaming and discord at the same time is worse than a desktop due to lack of keyboard shortcuts in discord.
Meanwhile a surface go 2 is great while docked if a bit slow. It seems sensitive to touchscreen interference while plugged in, lots of phantom touches. The only touch optimised app I use is the calculator! Still you know what to expect from windows.
Pity it's Lenovo...
My 3rd Lenovo tablet gave up few weeks ago (won't charge or turn on). I bought 2 Lenovo yoga tablets recently and those still work but when I'm thinking now how its even possible that those just gave up - one after a year?! Every tablet has been gently used in a super protective carrying case. Before lenovos we had old Tesco nook which we sold after few years. Lenovo = planned obsolescence?
I've had my Lenovo Yoga Tablet for 5 years now and it's still running well with Windows 10 (edited)
