Useful info and external links to reviews here:

Lenovo IdeaPad Z560

although the reviews refer to the lower spec i3 model. Worth looking at the info/benchmarks of the gfx card in this laptop if you were planning on using this as a gaming machine.

gfx seems a bit ****... but then again, I am not gonna use it for gaming... so I suppose, good day-to-day pc..?

roasting hot!

Another good spec computer with a standard res. *sigh*

remember, new intel cpus out tomorrow for laptops.

Looks like quite a bit of laptop for that price.

Yep the 310 is dedicated but still not up to playing anything new at a reasonable frame rate. So its almost kind of pointless.

Completely agree. Went for a Dell with a 1920 screen.

Only has integrated graphics.

Does the blu-ray also act as a dvd/cd writer?

Saveonlaptops have this same machines in a similar spec as the Toshiba for only 499.99 (i.e. this but with no BluRay and only 500GB HDD). Plus you still get dedicated graphics, unlike the Toshiba.

I've always had Toshiba's up to now,but use a Lenovo at work and impressed with it.

+1 on great spec apart from the crap screen!

This sucks I paid £440 for my core i3 z560 not a couple months ago, get this while its hot its a good laptop if anyone wants to buy mine shout up!

Just seen this deal now... as I need a laptop for gf's birthday next week.

Would I be right in thinking that this is probably the best all-rounder out there for this sort of budget?

I am nervous of saveonlaptops.co.uk, as I see A LOT of bad review all over. Is it justified?
