Cheap phone for what it is, suspect that you may not get OTA update being lenovo or have to install the offcial Chona Firmware, however the reviews show that it comes in a sealed box and notes does say it supports OTA. Let me know your thoughts

Only thing i can see missing is NFC

Use code LENOVO99 to get it down to $105.99, even cheaper if you are a new customer. Don't forget TCB too

Hope this helps, if anyone has this phoen let me know what your thougths are given this price.

This exactly. Fair enough if you try a flagship and you can't get along with it but a lot of people having bad experiences with Android are because they buy a >£100 phone and expect flagship performance. Then they buy a £1000 iPhone and say it's so much better

AliExpress is an online retail service based in China that is owned by the Alibaba Group. You might have a bit of a wait...

I desperately don’t want to make this an iPhone/Android debate, but I was exactly the same for over a decade using Android handsets. I’d start getting bored after 6 months and looking for another one. Then I gave an iPhone 6s a go and had it for over 3 years. Now have an XR and just have no desire to go hunting for another one until it gives up.
People like what they like, just wanted to add this. If you gave an iPhone a try you might have a similar experience as me.
Don't think I'll bother with an iphone screens as shatter proof as silver glass. You must have kept it in a safe if you've had it for three years.
Oops sugar glass

Normally quicker than that but right now you can add days on it with coronavirus issues in production.

I have two MacBook Pros (a newish one and a 2012 one that I'm still attached to), a 27" iMac, the latest Mac mini, an 11' iPad Pro and even some Airpods - can honestly say that I literally love them all.

I was generally shopping in the 1 year old flagship arena. Its a tricky one because I see so many people on here in the same boat. Having multiple android phones at the same time, buying and replacing every few months. Once I got the 6s it just did everything I wanted it to until eventually the battery gave up. Now with the Xr I feel the same. No desire to shop for a newer model. It ticks all the boxes.

In between the 6s and the Xr I did actually had a note 9 but even that, after a few months I was shopping again. I can't put my finger on what it was but ultimately it always feels like something is lacking. Back with my second iPhone now and all is well again. I'll keep this for 2 / 3 years I imagine.

Fair enough I'm on Android and happy but fair enough if you didn't like it as you did try a decent phone, just speaking from experience of many friends/relatives. I also like to switch my phone a lot but that's just because I love using new tech, not because of anything else.

Alot of people can get a flagship android for 300 so can afford to get another phone. After you get an iPhone contract your stuck with it for 2-3 years. P30 Pro for example got mine for 300 can afford to get another phone and sell this as it was so cheap compared to an iPhone that costs over 1k and still only has a 720p screen

But why would you even think of getting another phone if you've already got a flagship one with all the bells and whistles (on paper)? This is the point I was making about my own experience.

I gave it a try with an 8 recently and it just reinforced my idea that the last great iPhone was the 3gs...from then on it's a rip off although the most important feature and what people really want is that Apple logo on the back, they do even buy protective cases with a hole!!!!
By the time you receive it, most likely there will be a new one out. Lol

Yeah, but the 2 or 3 USD new a/c coupon still works, plus about 7% TCB.

Android offers too many choices. Nest's week phones will bring something different.
So you're always chasing the newest & greatest. Bank account gets hurt.

iPhones are boring!
