Non Pro version does not have B20

Wow Sam manages to mention 'no band 20' on a deal that has band 20.
Wonders never cease.

Great price for 6GB/128GB!

I'd be worried about the 3000mAH battery, no NFC, camera quality and Android 6 though. Can't have it all eh?
Got the non-Pro version and its ace. Highly recommended. Build quality is very good.
Gearbest? No thanks, too risky. Non existent customer service. Dodgy codes again, disappear at the checkout.

Can I ask how you went on with the phone language as displayed on the screens, is it English of Chinese?
Think I have asked on a previous GearBest deal but don't recall a reply: does Gearbest process credit card transactions directly or does it use an intermediary such as PayPal / Worldpay, etc, and what company name appears on the credit card statement transaction? Thanks.
I got the Zuk 2, it's like buying a Ferrari tuned by Henry Ford's model 1 ecu. The Zuk version of Android is so bad it's unreal .eg notifications missing, no badge count on icons for notifications, alarm doesn't even work, white listing apps so they run in the background so you don't miss notifications, icons on home page randomly moving to new other screens. Honestly this is the worse phone I have ever owned. But the geeks on here will reeling specs and flashing various obscure roms but even they know deep down they are over compensating for a poor overall experience

Agreed. I have the Z2 (paid a ridiculous 130 quid for it) and it's pretty wonderful imo. I also think the camera is pretty underrated. I've taken some lovely pics with it. And now on Android 7.

I only use PayPal on my GearBest purchases.

Just use paypal for double protection. If I remember correctly they give you a choice of direct or paypal.

Thanks but all PayPal options provide less protection than direct credit card payment to merchant that would satisfy UK-based Section75 protection. Problem here is that nobody has yet indicated if the merchant processes cc payments directly, but the responses so far are still appreciated.

*Hugs Lenovo P2*

Top-notch hardware strikes me as a bit pointless without top-notch software, but I suppose it depends what you do with that 6Gb/128Gb. Personally I've found software made far more of a difference in feeling like an upgrade beyond the budget Moto G level. I can't imagine what I'd do with more than 4Gb of RAM and I can add more space whenever I want, so...
That penny thou , il do em a deal il give cash £200.00 done
Also own non-Pro version and it's mint ( with custom rom ). U-touch button is great, dual SIM became a 'must have' for any future phone and of course superb performance - snap 820 is a beast. Screen and camera unfortunately only average.

Phone came in English out of the box so no problems there. I believe, it may have an Indian ROM but I'm not that techy.

100% correct, Sam. And I've encountered not one problem getting 4G wherever I have travelled (I'm on BTMOBILE/EE).

PS For other ZUK Z2 users on here that have already upgraded to Nougat, from the lock screen simply twist the Z2 twice and it takes you straight to the camera...very neat.

How does this compare to a Samsung S7?

Agree, 4G no problems at all. (PlusNet mobile)

gsmarena.com/com…038

No experience of either so couldn't comment, although worth noting the S7 is almost 300 quid more expensive.

Edit; this yt video compares the non-pro (slightly slower) Z2 with a Samsung S7's speed in everyday tasks

I have this phone, it's great!.

If you're willing to put a custom rom on this phone - you can get Android 7.1.2 near stock "RRemix" rom which runs really well on it, with virtually 0 bugs.
You will get an "warning - unlocked bootloader" splashscreen on start up, but it's worth it. The phone performs better than my OnePlus 3.

Thanks for info.
Does this ROM solves the issues with double notifications/ no notifications ?
Bought two of these on 4 September from Banggood, arrived nicely packed on 14 September, so 10 days for delivery. Switched on, its nice and fast, the front screen is just like using my Samsung. Very easy to set up and the Health App is on there.

There are less apps on it, but its up to the individual to customise it as they seem fit. Up to now am very pleased, as I thought cases would be here first. Oh and it comes with a screen protector already on.

Used Quidco to get cashback as well. Tried the camera and its very slick and takes nice pictures too. Only downside is it came with flat pin plug so will need an adapter at £6 from the bay. Also its on Android 6, but no biggie as it runs really smooth

Yep, solves any niggling little issues with the stock ROM.

Is the RRemix rom rooted? I'm happy flashing a custom rom but I don't want anything rooted. I've no deisre to have to mess about with Magisck and the like to get Pokemon and banking apps working.

I disagree. Fantastic phone. Best I've bought. I've had it only 9 months or so. To be honest you probably got a bugged one if things are moving...! I agree zui implementation is poor. I've used the official indian ROM and whilst it's updated to android 7, I'm still on 6 as the stability is rock solid.

Specs are fantastic but again I agree with you specs mean diddly squat if you don't have smooth performance.
