Ahhh, you're one of those people.
Xiaomi 6 is going to hit the Chinese market next month so I will wait and see
Yes, it does.
Do you know if this means the phone comes rooted? Deal-breaker if so. Thanks
Because it's a Chinese phone meant for the Chinese market.
Not sure about rooted or not, not an expert here. But it did take me a few hours to re-install original ROM. Problem is ZUI is quite different, and you have only one button to navigate, as I said, it does take time to get used to it, but other than that, very good handset, and at this price, hot!
Chinese version of Android UI is a bit Marmite tbh.
I generally prefer stock Android. ZUK UI is really strange, e.g. swipe from the bottom upward for quick settings ... which is contrary to other OEMs. But if you're using one handed, it sort of make sense if you have small hand/short fingers.
The customisable home button is my favourite feature of the phone ... I like to turn on screen nav off.
A question: how many mobiles have you owned and what %tage of them failed in the first 12 months? It's all a question of how much you think a warranty is worth, I guess. But buy it witha credit card and you should be covered anyway...
Yeah, deal breaker.
Ahhh, you're one of those people.
The regular zuk z2 is probably better value than the pro z2. Here you're paying extra for a larger, OLED display, 128gb UFS 2, a better camera, better materials, quickcharge 3, B20 and some other things. Sounds like a long list but it's really just nerdy stuff most people won't even notice. Both phones still beat pretty much anything else when it comes to spec/price ratio however, so you can't go wrong with either.
My S6 is about a year old and the battery is woeful. Even after a full charge the OS itself tells me I have 8 hours tops battery life, and 9 using power save mode.... its a damn good job it has fast charge..
This one is missing Nfc as well. Same site is leeco pro 3 with nfc and B20. But I am saving money to buy snapdragon 835 phone.
Yes it is, likely to be honoured?
Of course, in France we used it for this phone

Information on recovery / roms here.
Unofficial Lineage rom available for this.. which I would trust over the original Lenovo rom.

small battery
Efficient SoC.
hilarious, you are correct though you could buy this with the depreciation.
Don't bother with 835 the 836 is going to be waaay better!
Just out of curiosity what do you personally use your NFC for (genuine question)?
Were you drunk?
I use NFC everyday to use Android Pay, contactless

There are a couple of phones going to be released soon with snapdragon 835 with x16 Lte modem like Sony and Samsung S 8 but there is no snapdragon 836. Don't tell porkies.
If you live in London, everyone accepts wireless payment these days, and all public transport and retailers accept Nfc.
