Have seen similar deals pass buy on this peach of a phone. Has been 250-280 from china past month or two, been waiting until it dropped down near 200 again. It`s still 385 on lenovo`s amazon site !

But on Lenovo's Amazon site you don't pay VAT or import duties , you have an EU warranty and of course you have the ability to return if faulty. I take it this is news to you ? Another falling foul of the glossy websites ? without the savvy to understand the pitfalls of buying from a Chinese seller ?

I wouldn't recommend this phone. I bought the non-pro 4GB/64GB ZUK Z2 and even with less hardware to power and a bigger 3500mAh battery I can't get through a day without charging. I'm not even playing games just spending a few hours a day browsing social media, hotukdeals, email, etc. The Z2 pro only has a 3100mAh battery so it'll be even worse. I've bought a Redmi Note 4 with a 4100mAh battery now and will give the Z2 to my Mum as she won't use it so much.

Exactly. To me it feels as if these Chinese sellers have installed their touts. These touts tend to be very vocal and they work in groups. I hope HUKD bars people outside of the UK to participate in terms of voting or commenting

There are plenty of good deals from Chinese sellers. People are free to balance the price paid with the potential higher risk.

I have the non-pro model runing dual SIMs and have found the battery life to be oustanding, way better than the P8 Lite I had before it. After a full days use for work and personal use I've usually got around 50% charge left. Charges really quickly too.

Specs are great, that said it is a bit of an enthusiasts phone. Custom ROMs etc.

Hot from me

I had a ZUK Z2 smaller version of this phone.
Battery life was amazing.

But please don't use quick charger. I had used on mine for months with no issues suddenly one day it melted the ports... Would have been a fire bomb had I not checked it.
After that it refuses to charge. There are loads of people with the same issue..... As it was from Banggood they had asked me to send it across seas for repair.... After negotiation BG offered me 20% of price I paid, if I wanted to keep the item..
I just accepted it and binned the phone.
As this is the bigger version of Z2 I had and share same internals, I would be wary of using a fast charger.
The first comment was right on warranty.... Pay a bit more for peace of mind.
Btw there ROM came full of bugs and wouldn't receive SW updates or security patches...
If this phone is at £150-160 levels I would recommend.... Not at this price

Voted hot - but personally I always try to buy from a UK retailer for peace of mind. Best I can find at the moment for similar spec is the P10 Lite. Was posted on here for a deal where you could get it for £139 at Carphone Warehouse.

May be something wrong with your phone (Zuk Z2). This is one of the best phones since my iPhone 4 (paid £500 back in the days) and to me the king of the budget phones.

Battery life is 2 days with screen time of 4-5 hrs. Infact in 2nd day and still have 12%. Make sure you don't have email killing your battery in the background.

As others have said, if faulty your on your own. I have been looking to buy another zuk Z2 but prices have gone up to £180 or so!

Yeah may be something running that's draining the battery but it somewhat defeats the point of having a smartphone if you can't use it to receive stuff like emails promptly, which requires it to check in the background regularly. Anyway I'm going to flash a custom ROM, so I'll see if that improves things.
