I can honestly say this is one of the worst albums I've ever heard.

Love the Beatles. Pretty poor reviews, an excerpt from one:

'each and every brutalised song goes painfully by and you're sat, patiently, tears in your eyes, desperately resisting the urge to wedge cheese in your ears to make the torture stop, waiting for something that vaguely resembles an enjoyable piece of music, but it simply never comes.'

    Says it all for me.

'Love the Beatles. Pretty poor reviews, an excerpt from one'. Which Beatle left the poor review about themselves then? (edited)

It will be a legit signed picture, most new vinyl albums aren't actually signed on the album cover. I don't know if it's to do with them being shipped from overseas, almost all the vinyls I buy these days just come with a signed print

My dad had their Jesta Giggle album.

I just had a quick glance at the album on Spotify after reading the reviews and honestly have been in tears of laughter at some of it.

Eleanor Rigby is a strange skit on the lyrics of ER with an instrumental cover of Billie Jean as the backing track.

Across the Universe sees Leo singing like he’s straining on the bog after a night out on the curries and Carlsbergs.

And if that wasn’t weird enough, on Here Comes the Sun, he’s adopted a vocal tone that can only be described as “Elton John in the club style”.

I’m a person who thinks practically all music has some merit and at least in recording this album Leo has enabled some session musicians to get some work but that is quite literally the only redeeming feature I can drag from this sorry mess. I’m surprised everyone involved didn’t drop dead at the conclusion of its recording

And it doesn't really matter what chords I play
What words I say or time of day it is
As it's only a northern song...........................Yes, Lads, you have passed the audition.............

Just had a listen in Spotify. It's not awful, but it is very odd. As dan_uk says, the billy Jean / Eleanor rigby is a strange mix. But it does work.

I can't imagine reaching for it again though.
