love this film. Heat

Absolute classic. Hot hot hot.

Brilliant film. One of the best

Amazing movie!!

Is it really 20 years old? I can't believe that, time just flies

Great movie, watched this two weeks ago again - not sure why people would want to spend extra to get a steel case though, it's chunky and takes up more space...

Leon is Noel backwards.

Which is French for Christmas.

Ideal Xmas Gift for any backwards French people.

Lol spooooooky never considered that!

In before "Is this a steelbook? Or is it a steelbook?"
Free postage for £9.99 and I feel bad for those finding it on Amazon for £9.99 in a week or so but fear not - you could always order something else on Zavvi at the same time as this to take the order over a tenner to get that "I'm getting a real bargain here!" feeling.

Thanks OP

If I didn't already have the Director's Cut version on standard Bluray I would be seriously tempted. One of my all-time faves.

Heat just for the movie....one of my fav

This is an okay deal......okay indeed.

brilliant film! hot!!

One of my favourite films.

Directors cut is well worth having as theres an amazing scene in a restaurant which is uncomfortable to watch but makes the sub-text of the film more co-hesive (dunno where that came from i must have read it somewhere)

I'll be honest with you, I don't like that part. I think the director's cut adds a lot of good stuff, my favourite is the 'practice' guy, the one who they have a disagreement in front of, and then Leon casually kills him without even looking. That part though, the overt restaurant scene, just felt heavy handed. I think Leon's target (ahem) market is smart enough to figure the subtext out without having it spoonfed to them.

Good film, but not one of the greats. The directors cut is very disturbing and I would question the reasons for portraying the to lead characters in that way.

I understand your point i actually feel uncomfortable watching it but i do feel, personally, that it shows a different, more intense, relationship.

I remember seeing this back when it first come out and feeling guilty about fancying Natalie Portman when I was 17 and feeling uneasy about it for a while after too but now I can safely look back and say much nicer now! Phew!

KM

So will this overpriced 'SteelBook' be as worthless in a few years as all the other 'Special Edition' DVDs I brought?
