Leon: Director's Cut Blu-ray only £5.49 delivered @ Play.com. Bargain price can't seem to find this cheaper elsewhere and have been waiting for it to go around the £5 mark for some time. Don't forget Quidco and TCB at 6.06% too.

Leon: Director's Cut Blu-ray

Jean Reno (Mission: Impossible, Ronin, The Crimson Rivers), Gary Oldman (Sid And Nancy, Romeo Is Bleeding, The Dark Knight), Danny Aillo (Fingers, Do The Right Thing, A Brooklyn State Of Mind) and Natalie Portman (V For Vendetta, Goya's Ghost, Mars Attacks) in her film debut, all star in this highly influential, seminal 90s action/thriller.

Directed by Luc Besson (Subway, The Big Blue, Nikita, The Fifth Element), Leon is the controversial and unforgettable story of an unlikely friendship within a brutal and violent world. Twelve-year-old Mathilda lives within the desperate confines of a squalid New York apartment block. On returning from a shopping trip Mathilda finds that her abusive, dysfunctional family (and her beloved younger brother) have been slaughtered by a psychotic, drug dealing police officer. In fear of her life she takes refuge with her reluctant, mysterious and solitary neighbour. His name is Leon and he's one of the world's deadliest assassins. And while Mathilda begins to teach him how to live, Leon begins to teach her how to kill.

Spot on in my opinion

Great film and cut, quality is good too. Some controversy about the added extra scenes but didn't see the problem tbh.

Cheers for the reply I've ordered it. I used to have this movie on VHS but got rid of all my tapes a while after my VCR broke in 2003 (and used the tapes for about a year after just for propping up broken slats under the bed I had then, hehe). Was meaning to buy it on DVD for years but I'm a PS3 owning Blu Ray viewer now so this looks like a bargain.

Thanks to the poster for notifying us of the current price.

**** just bought this from play the other day for £7

How often would you watch this?

Also it's a sad movie.

I've seen it over fifteen times in my life but not once in the last seven years or so. Looking forward to watching again this time on Blu Ray

One of the best films of the 90s and one of my favourites.

Showing £8.99 now.

I assume that TCB is topcashback.co.uk?

Anyone have experience of TCB? Are they any good in comparison to quidco?

Honestly they are great. I didn't use quidco because they have an annual charge that you need to pay, whereas TCB (Topcashback) is totally free and you keep 100% of the cashback you claim. I would seriously recommend it!

Cheers. I will register with them then as I currently have a quidco account which charges £5 annual fee. They are quite good but TCB seems better with no annual fee.
