From acclaimed director Luc Besson comes the hard-hitting, action-packed thriller, Leon.

Gary Oldman plays a corrupt government official whose maniacal greed leads to murder on the streets of New York. A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues when he crosses paths with a lone hitman named Leon. Caught in the middle is an orphaned 12-year-old girl, who can't forgive or forget the man who killed her family.

With sharp execution and cunning force, Leon delivers exceptional drama and suspense right from the word go!

25 extra minutes that flesh out the relationship between Leon and Matilda. The extended version really is the way to go, it adds more depth and nuance to the film.

They don't make them like this anymore.

Cool. Thanks for the reply.

I think I'll wait for the Director's Cut Blu-ray version to drop below that common £7.50 mark.

Adds too much, but it balances it out. One of my top ten films and the directors cut is well worth it but I liked the cast away reference to another girl in Leon' past in the theatrical cut. Theatrical cut is great too though, what is taken out leaves more to the imagination which gives it a much more indie feel.

It does drop lower, everyone snapped up the last deal so I would imagine it will go £6.99 or lower.

Fabulous film - "Everrryyyooooone!" classic Gary Oldman.

I love it, we called our youngest son Ben LEON cause me and my husband love the film so much - LOL

Think I would prefer the director's cut as well though.

Hard to believe that Gary Oldman's sister is big Mo in Eastenders!
