Can anyone else see how the chronograph stopwatch part would function?

I see no standalone button, Meaning no chronograph function.

Regards price, £69.99 seems to be its original price circa 9 months ago.

Seems a good price, I think it was £129 when it was launched.

Nice watch but woefully misdescribed in the Argos listing. It isn’t a chronograph and it doesn’t have a date function but at least it is a watch.
No date function. No good for me

Its not chronograph, Argos have not got the correct details on the site. Thats a small second hand, not a chronograph version. Also no date on the watch, which is described at 4 o'clock. They description used to say leather straps, but they've changed that.

I was going to post it a few weeks ago at £49, but the descriptions didn't match the watch. So I decided against it, we know how unforgiving HUKD can be.
But OP should realise its nots a Chronograph watch just by looking at it....tut tut!
To be fair, the Argos site quotes 'chronograph function'.....although it's not clear what that actually means?

At it’s most basic, chronograph is a fancy name for timer. So had the second hand had a stop/start function, it would arguably be deemed a basic “chronograph” watch, despite the lack of stand alone minute and hour counters.

Why is this getting heat - just WHY?

Because it is a decent watch at a decent price.

Rotary are a really good make for the money, have very solid water resistance on all their watches, if you are after a sub £100 quarts then rotary are one of the best brands you can go for imo

Because it's the cheapest available price for the item?... Ya know, the whole point of this site?
