Pretty poor car seat, had with our first child as part of the Pioneer set. It's bulky, heavy & awkward. The clipping mechanism in the base also tends to stick as the 'hooks' get stuck inside the carrier - bad design. Bit of a shame as the pram is fantastic!
This is a fantastic seat and I don't believe it's normally on offer. Heat from me! Have used it for 3.5months now and can't fault it at all. We have a much cheaper (£150) seat in our second car and the difference in quality is obvious.
Very good value for a rear facing car seat and iSize compatible too. The besafe has one of the best reclines, for those of you that have sloping / sculpted seats in your car.
I know besafe make some great car seats (still have one for my son), though while 55" Polaroid TVs are gaining mega heat your expensive rear facing car seat is going to be voted into oblivion. ;)
Good price for rear facing, the Mrs spent £400 on a cybex sirona. Rear facing supposed to be safest out there
This is an awful seat, only barely passes any safety regulations. Much better seats out there for the price!!
It isn't a better deal it has a misleading title on pramworld as 3 in 1, though the car seat is available SEPARATELY, so it is really a 2 in 1 with the option of making it a 3 in 1 by adding the car seat, the car seat isn't included according to the description. £75 more expensive for the same 2 in 1
It's the same as Lesters but more??? Why is it better?
This deal is better: http://www.pramworld.co.uk/cosatto-ooba-3-in-1-combi-charleston?gclid=COisj5qMr88CFQ63Gwod8mgNpQ#fo_c=743&fo_k=38e1257d9a62f57d263529920afe1348&fo_s=gplauk 3 in 1 travel system for £75 more....
Lester's nursery world are a great company. bought a few things off them, always sent and arrived quickly, no messing around
Excellent customer service and delivery from the Lesters, it came through next day as promised. I still think a great bargin especially as this is the newer model
Find it weird this is cold!
So far so good, they have already called me back to confirm my delivery address and will be with me Monday!
Thanks, the cheapest i've found it elsewhere was a tenner more. I haven't heard of this seller before but looks OK to me.
No idea, voted hot. Really good online seller too - I got my travel system from here a couple of weeks ago. They seem to get special deals from Cosatto on a selected print. I saved around £150 on the Giggle 2 with free car seat.
Both my kids like the That's interesting. Both my 1yo and 2yo like the 1 seat we have so I've been looking for a 2nd now the youngest has outgrown the carrier and I need to do double nursery drop offs. My eldest hasn't tried to escape from it but then again he's only just climbed out from his cot bed for the 1st time ever this week.
At first I loved this seat and purchased after reading lots of reviews . However after a while i have found my 3 year is able to get out of the restraint very easily and has climbed out of the seat a couple times ! Would think twice if purchasing again !
Seems to have disappeared from the site :(
I have this seat it is excellent!
these are brilliant... but can't believe they have gone up in price by atleast £100 in a couple of years
Cheaper than most other places mothercare mamas and papas etc !
for the amount of time your LO will spend in this it's just too expensive for the vast majority of HUKD members. If you can justify the cost the they're great but if you re looking for this cheaper then just keep an eye on gumtree or eBay and pick one up local the put back on when done
It's not the same one as that is the classic and not in stock....
yeah suppose it's a fancy one ...
Friends for ours know someone in the trade. They got the same car seat and base for the trade price - which was £240. In effect this deal is only £10 more. But I guess you are paying full price then for quite an expensive pushchair. Unless it's half price you never get heat.
thanks for this... It does look exactly the same! Not sure if it's a copy of the vista 2015 model or of the earlier version... However we need a double pram hence the vista choice but there doesn't seem to be any kind of double /single function advertised for the britax smile which is strange?....
I have the Vista - really like it. However check out the Britax Smile - I believe Britax bought the rights to the Vista - seems almost identical and cheaper.
It's no more difficult than the icandy. The other thing that we were told when we bought it was, although covered by guarantee, the number of defects or replacements that you need with a Uppa Vista is far less than with the icandy (which JL apparently get lots of and have poor customer service with ICandy). They were implying that it is made much better. My LO is very tall and we are still using the pushchair perfectly fine, so this isn't an issue for us.
This was one of the reasons we steered clear of them too. Plus if you are really wanting to use it for 2 children it's very low down and not a great position for the bottom seat. Whereas the Uppababy looks better for this.
