Hmmmm just a bathroom scale
same old incentivised rubbish. Clusters of recognisable review group names posting 5 star reviews at the same time. No thanks would rather buy something trusting
salter equivalent £15.00 Tesco`s.
i am in serious need of bathroom scales as the one we have is so old it doesn't work properly. it adds or subtracts 1kg each time i step on and step off so i have to weigh myself 3 or 4 times and take the average! the reviews sounds good on this one but can't see any comment about the battery life. i had a digital salter scale before which needed regular changing of batteries, let's hope this one isn't going to be a battery eater.

Pretty much not to be relied on as incentivised reviews are well known to be fake as the sellers expect 4 or 5 star reviews in order for you to be chosen to get a free product and if you don't agree to give them 5 stars you won't get refunded your money via PayPal after the review has been left.

how can you tell when the reviews are incentivised? on this product, what gives it away?

i bought a basin plug from an amazon seller, fulfilled by amazon. the reviews were glowing but when the product arrived it was very poor quality. but i wouldn't know that the reviews are fake.

I recognise a load of those names for starters from various review groups. Its best to look at their individual review history. You will see that they most post several or many reviews everyday, and like this product page no product, unless a chinese FBA product with fake reviews, gathers as many reviews organically and all on the same days or within the same week unless part of the grapevine review program which is Amazons legit review club.

When you've been amongst them for a while you get to see the patterns very easily, especially the criteria most have to meet to get their money back ie several pics, xx amount of words at a minimum and so on. For many reviewers this is a money earner as they repackage the goods and sell them on.

Another helpful route is using a fake review analyser website, it will grade the reviews based on their authenticity

Amazon does catch up with these reviewers and sellers especially as sales and review patterns give them away and in turn they have their reviews deleted and often accounts closed.

To add further insult the sellers do ask a lot for items to posted on deal sites like this for further benefits be it cash or another free product.

It is helpful. It's a pity HUKD members previous thread histories aren't more obvious.
